I dunno who this is, but whenever they're coming onto the forum, there's upwards of a dozen connections made (sometimes upwards of 20). I can't tell if this is some kind of ATTACK on the forum, someone inadvertently opening up tons of browser windows, or simply not knowing how to use a god damn web browser in the first place.

I'm putting the IP on temporary ban. If you find out that you're banned from the board and can no longer connect, e-mail me personally.

My computer's been woogy lately involving browsers so I might inadvertantly be passing a trojan or something. If this msg posts, ignore me. If not, why I am bothering to write an "if not" scenario?

So are they unable to even connect to the forum, or can they just not post?

Well, let's see...

Guess I'm alright.

Shortened IRC version of Mugenmidget's findings:

* Resolved 65.54.164.60 to msnbot64060.search.msn.com

It's just an MSN search bot. Good riddance. :)

An MSN bot is like a Google bot, only evil. Fueled by Bill Gates' rage.

It runs around the internet and annoy people.

This maybe slitily off topic but, how can you even recognize an address?

What do you mean? Do you mean even see the IP address in the first place?

The admin index (which only I have access to) shows a list of all members and guests currently connected to the forum, their IP address, what part of the forum they're looking at, and some other fun stuff. I kept noticing the same general IP address connecting upwards of a dozen times as "Guest" (meaning it wasn't a registered member), and looked into it.

Ran a WHOIS on it, and it's just a Microsoft search bot. BANNED.

It would. Because obviously there's nothing Bill Gates loves more than hanging around on DragonBall Z message boards.

Hey Liam, Gates is practically the world's biggest "geek", so don't be too sure. :D
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
