You're fighting to save your universe, you're letting bureaucrats tell you when or when not to use tech that could help you win easier?
Tidar's death is made even more tragic in a stupid way because of this.

You could say this in every real life world war!!!RandomGuy96 wrote:Why would they even use a weapon like that? Who thought it was a good idea?
There are many such destructive weapons that should never have been used on this planet Earth!!!

I like these guys are from a universe where they use high tech stuff to win their battles. I think it was mention that they killed Freeza and his empire. I'm not sure if Broli and Buu were killed in their universe or not.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Honestly, this would have worked better for me if he'd been vague about why he can't lose and his teammates explained their crisis after the battle. It is a little sudden as-is, but oh well. Only a fancomic.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
And politically incorrect? Bra you're the best. *sarcasm*
And I guess this is done. Bra will teleport Eliem somewhere he won't be able to escape from and win...How Disappointing. I expected Eliem to lose, but I wanted him to go down fighting, not by a ring out because he was pitied.

Hey, Gohan called Boo a retard so I guess that's fair game in this series.
As for the page...yeah, a little anticlimactic but at least we can move on.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
One thing that I've been wondering about, and this may seem both petty and out of nowhere...
But what's with the shape of Bra's belly button? It's drawn the way a lot of woman belly buttons are in cartoons, in that it's this huge line rather than how they normally are, which is...more round. I've always taken for granted as a common way of drawing them, but...now that I think about it, I don't remember ever seeing that in real life. Is it an artistic exaggeration, or something that just happens when a woman is exceptionally fit, or what ?
Again, ridiculously silly question, I know, but it's been bugging me somewhat.

...kind of, but it's not very deep, and it's not shaded very darkly at all. It's certainly not solid black like it's usually shown in cartoons like this. So yeah, I guess that would be a simple case of artistic exaggeration, huh?
Anyways, thanks a ton for your help !

It's a bit confusing that it's Universe 16 Bra fighting, yet Universe 18 Goku says "we".
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The line itself just seems to be Bra's abs (or the equivalent thereof; I'm not entirely sure how those muscles look on a female frame).
There's a bit of a dot/circle at the bottom of that line which is probably the actual belly button.

I'm with Eliem. I wanted him to win because fuck Bra. Little shit is so cocky about...that. She herself said he was weak, so why is she so taunting about something so small? Hate that shit eating grin.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
