I'm at the disclaimer and I'm already laughing my ass off.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Hark, do I hear the voice of foreshadowing at the end? I think I do.

Holy shit, that was fucking amazing. I mean, nearly every episode is, but I don't think I've laughed this hard in a while. Um... spoilers:

OH GOD THE SUPER BUTODEN MUSIC I LOVE YOU GUYS. And then quickly followed up by the classic high score joke and "Donkey Kong has a pie level." Now there's a damn combo for you. Now I gotta watch it again just to try and decide which of Goku and Freeza's exchanges is my favourite.

Just finished watching the episode. Going to watch it again a little later while on a treadmill at the gym. Going to watch it a 3rd time with my sister later. There may be other viewings sprinkled in-between those main 3.

Freeza and Goku's interaction is EXACTLY how I expected it to be; Goku's simple-minded and innocent responses are completely messing up the rhythm and system Freeza's had with all his opponents up until now.

Edit: Awesome episode, MasakoX's acting was brilliant through the ending part (KAIO-KEN!).

Question: Why no NEPs for the DBZA?

Favorite parts!:

Freeza: No, that was a rhetorical question.
Goku: And I gave you a rhetorical answer!
Freeza: Dear god, I traded Vegeta for this.

"Piccolo should really have a talk with him."

Goku: My butt is flaming!
Freeza: I miss Zarbon.

The little Bulma scene was funny. Good to see her again.

MasakoX's Kamehameha was grand.

I also appreciate Vegeta saying he'd still be evil if it weren't for Freeza.

Pretty good episode! I've noticed Mr. Silly hasn't been doing any voices in the last couple of episodes (because his characters are dead), and they still manage to be pretty damn funny.

Great episode, guys. I love how Gokuu was unintentionally trolling the wise-cracking Freeza. I pissed myself laughing at the end.

Agree on all of those. But for me, the Pinball scene was the best bit.

BTW, will you ever update your voice preference chart to include the TFS dub?

I feel like Freeza's gonna be having a mental breakdown by the time this battle is over.
Goku was wonderful the whole way through (I did not know there was a pie level in Donkey Kong.) and that final kaio-ken + kamehameha was amazing!

Also, Vegeta being tricked out of his clothes. X3 That was great.

Huh.... would I be stupid to claim that this was the best episode yet?

So far, it wrung out so many laughs with the Goku/Freeza interaction, and they aren't even halfway done.

The episode was just all-around brilliant... and "Recoome thanks you" at the end cracked me up.

If the rest of Team Four Star were here, I'd congratulate them as well, but for now, I'll just refer my congratulations and gratitude to KaiserNeko.

I forgot to mention before, but Goku shouting "Geromino!" instead of "Geronimo!" was adorable. X3

I seriously think that the Goku/Freeza dynamic is even better than the Goku/Vegeta one.

Sad that Freeza won't be around that much longer, though. I'm guessing Super Saiyan will be at the end of 29, and then 30 will be the end of the Namek arc, right?

Kaiser, are you guys still planning on doing Garlic, Jr.?

Well, Masako posts here roughly... once every two years or so. ;)

I'm not sure what I can say that wouldn't be a repeat of what's already been said.
Oh, besides this: Vegeta's spirit animal is not dead! :D

I wonder how long DBZ Kai abridged episode 2 is going to be. :P

Goku's brain being a separate entity was overkill, honestly. That's my only gripe.

To point out something that hasn't been overstated yet, I think this episode takes the crown for the most self-aware pretty easily. ("So you just want me to keep doing what I've been doing?"). I love it. Kind of ripping on the material more than usual, but then it does deserve the flak.

But I was waiting for Freeza saying something akin to "How do you function?", which made it that much better when that's exactly what Freeza said it. And it does goes without saying you have the "sadism versus someone too dumb to to be threatened" setup down to an art; I just could not wait to see how Freeza'd get utterly shot down next.

Also, what sound effect was that used for the head tilting? I was wondering if you'd go into "There are just no words..." territory, and I was really happy that you did.

Me too. However, there will be one last one with Pikkon.

It was brilliant. The barf scene... oh god! That was so funny!

All of Freeza's reactions are just awesome! Good job TFS!
