Which would you choose?

Post by sonjordan » Mon Jul 21, 2008 8:27 pm

So my friend has apparently has a bit too much money on his hands and is trying to decide between three purchases on ebay. Which would YOU buy?

http://cgi.ebay.com/DBZ-All-7-Crystal-D ... dZViewItem

OR

http://cgi.ebay.com/DBZ-All-7-Crystal-b ... dZViewItem

And Lastly

http://cgi.ebay.com/Dragonball-Z-GT-Sta ... dZViewItem

I say he get the first one, basically beacuse the other 2 are clear. And sorry if we are not allowed to post eBay postings. I read the rules and didn't see anything forbidding it since I am not the one selling.

Since money is not an object, I would pick number 3.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Kendamu's got a point. The scouter's a much better deal because then you can use it to locate the power level of someone who bought the Dragon Ball set, kill him and/or destroy his town/city/planet, and take them for yourself absolutely FREE!

Unless he's stronger then you, then you just get sent to HFIL...although I guess that could be considered a free carnival trip.Anyway I like the first set the best myself.

I would definitely say get the first set of Dragonballs, since they're the only ones that are actually orange. It wouldn't be too hard to make similar orange light stands like you get in the other sets, small LED lights like those are like 40 cents a piece.

And since we seem to also be suggesting other expensive Dragonball items on Ebay I thought I'd make a few suggestions too:

Medicom SSj Goku figure (or any of Medicoms other two DBZ figures).

16" Shenlong figure.

38cm Oozaru figure.

And I just had to also link to what seems to be some of the best made Dragonball figures out there, as advertised on the official Toei Animation Dragonball Z page: http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/tv/dragon/figure.html

If I had money to spend, THESE items look much more appealing than paying $100 shipping on Dragon Balls.

I like the first one.

But if you have that much money to spend, I wouldn't advise buying Dragonballs. As cool as they are.

If he's got $ to burn and wants a scouter, what about this?
Linky
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
