I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but that's not the official release. Lots of companies nowadays are destroying precious music and it's incredibly irritating. Big-name CD manufacturers are distorting sounds to make them seem louder. Sound quality suffers. In a short moment, you'll see why ANIMAX is ruining the sound.SuicidalZerg wrote:Sorry for the rather inferior picture...

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Well it's what I could find off of Amazon, so, yeah. I'm not terribly good at looking for Japanese releases and such, and I am well aware that this is the 2006 re-release, because that's all I could find on sites that I could read. If you know of anywhere that sells the 90's version, I'd be happy to take a look, though.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
Received my Dragon Ball Z: Goku Densetsu copy today which I bought off a seller as "used - very good" but turned up sealed, here the photos of it:
There's two things I hate about the European DS boxes, 1) the case is bloody thick and barely has anything inside and 2) it has a colour stripe on the bottom of the spine according to which country it's from. But well, at least they managed to have the cool DBZ:GD logo on the spine thankfully.

FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I just bought 'Dragon Box 1 (US)' for $US65..
Is that a good deal or should I have looked for longer?

Could have been worse, they could have chosen two entirely-foreign-to-the-average-consumer words from the Japanese title instead of just one...dbboxkaifan wrote:Weird title.. It could've been like "DRAGON BALL Z: THE LEGEND OF GOKU" (yeah there was Legacy of Goku on GBA).

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I recently ordered the Pioneer "Trouble" single to get free shipping on a Robot Spirits ZZ Gundam that Amazon listed with damage packaging for $30.
I preordered the Figuarts Goku... but Amazon still hasn't shipped mine (as well as many others' apparrently). Plus, they removed their listing for it, so you can't order it directly from them anymore... which has me worried.Retan wrote:Finally got DBZ Figuarts regular Goku, now I'm all caught up, and just waiting for #18 & #17l.

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
It had been awhile since I'd purchased anything DBZ, until earlier this week when I purchased the Ginyu, Frieza, and Garlic Jr. saga's on DVD from eBay. Now all I need is the Namek, Trunks, Perfect Cell, Cell Games, and World Tournament saga's to complete my old-school DVD collection.

$200. Compared to the original MSRP it's pricy but it's nothing compared to some of the prices on eBay which can range from double or triple that price.thomas1up wrote:
