The DBZ Jump Anime Tour Special (Now Streaming!)

Post by shotkeeper » Sat Nov 01, 2008 5:49 am

Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!!!!!

All three specials are going to air on 24 Nov.

Quote from ANN:
This year's 49th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced on Saturday that the Jumpland website will stream three of the anime specials — Dragon Ball, Tegami Bachi, and Romance Dawn — that have been screened at this fall's Jump Super Anime Tour events. The free streaming will begin on November 24, the day after the last stop on the tour. There are no indications on whether viewers outside Japan will be blocked by their Internet protocol (IP) addresses.

I'm so going to capture the video in one way or another (If it's streams worldwide).

Even if it does not stream worldwide. I'm sure some Japanese will distribute it.

There's only one big problem. If they are doing this, it must be because they are not going to release a DVD version.

The specials will be streamed not only in Japan but everywhere.
Jumpland already has a website for the 3 specials. There are character and plot descriptions and a few new pictures.
Go to the link

They have an english version of the site, so I probably think there will be subs. Too bad Daimao won't be doing them.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Better than nothing, I guess. Still overall, we get to see the special (hopefully subbed) far sooner than we'd expected.

The animation looks ''Flashy'' from those screenshots. Especially Abo and Kado. But still, can't wait to see this baby on the screen!

I never noticed the Purple Scouters before, maybe they just wear a red/blue one each so it appears purple...

When I read this on Anime News Network I almost did a back flip. I can't wait too see this. Hopefully they don't block non-Japanese IPs...
