This guide will attempt to address all issues and questions that a user may have during their time on Kanzenshuu.
Frequently Asked Questions
It is our intent to further develop this FAQ page as the wiki becomes more public and frequent questions can be compiled.
How do I edit a page?
Further information: Project:Getting Started#Editing & Creating Pages
- Editing most pages is easy, just click the "Edit" link located in the left navigation bar of a page (or on a section-edit link). This will take you to a new page with a text box containing the editable text of the page you were viewing. In this box you can type in the text that you want to add using wiki markup to format the text and add other elements like images and tables. When you have finished editing you should write a short edit summary in the small field below the edit-box describing your changes.
How do I create a new page?
- You are required to be a member of Kanzenshuu that has been granted wiki access to create a new article. It is recommended you try editing a few existing articles before you create your first article. Prior to creating a new article, be sure to search the wiki in case an article already exists on the subject, perhaps under a different title. To experiment with a page, or perhaps practice wiki markup code, you can use the shared sandbox.
Why was my article deleted?
- If you look at the address where your page was, it should have a red box above it that shows the user who deleted it and their reason why. If the reason is not helpful, or you disagree with it, you can click on the "talk" link to send them a message and ask.
How do I change the name of an article?
- You move the article using the "move" link located in the left navigation bar. But in order to do this, you must have an account that has reached autoconfirmed status. If you are not an autoconfirmed user, or the page you wish to move is protected, an administrator will have to move it for you.
