While many of the earlier generation games were consistently localized and released to the European market, this was not the case in North America. Up until the release of Final Bout in 1997 for the Sony PlayStation, none of the Dragon Ball games were localized for the North American market, with the exception of Shenron no Nazo which was released under the title "Dragon Power" and graphically altered due to the lack of a license for the franchise.
