I think Yamamoto's score is definitely worth it. It's part of what makes Kai, Kai for me. Without it, it feels a lot less fresh and a lot more like Dragon Ball Z (if that makes any sense).

In the thread title you ask a question, but in the OP you say the Z dub of that episode is better than the Kai dub like it's a fact. Which, needles to say, is subjective. I personally far prefer the Kai dub, and Chris Ayres as Freeza.
