So this was a great listen. Good group of people, I think . . .

And really, what better topic than positive discussion about a NORTH AMERICAN release? Has this ever happened before?!

As informative as the Podcast is, though, it's really just side commentary and a lot of unscheduled fun when compared to the incredibly detailed Feature. But I'm letting it run a second time, regardless. :D

That's not a bad thing. Hell, that's what drew me to the show in the first place.

This podcast is greatness.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Well, yes. Whether one chooses to take the comment as good or bad, it was directed toward this Podcast in general; it was by no means generalized toward the show as a whole.

There is a slight error in the feature that was posted with the podcast. The link to the episode with the interview with Steve Simmons actually links to the dvd guide.

Great podcast by the way. It was great to hear someone just lay everything out that we know.

You made the statement on the opcast of "How much fans could possibly own of dragonball?"

Add on the rest of the orange and GT bricks and the last double and triple feature onto this video I made.

I have not been this excited for an episode of the podcast in so long. I read the feature. It was brilliant, by the way. And I am now ready to digest this lovely new podcast. Thanks a lot.

What you guys were saying towards the end were perfect: we're NOT buying the Dragon Boxes - we're buying an American release of them and to expect it to be at the exact same level of quality of the R2 DVDs is pushing it.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Great podcast. November 10th, here we come....

Also, does anyone have those videos of Shigeru Chiba saying the movie characters names? I tried looking on Youtube, but I couldn't find it anywhere. My sister hasn't seen it yet and wants to see it.

Good podcast, enjoyed it very much! I wish it could've gone on longer, but part 2 will be when the Dragon Box Volume 1 is actually out. So no problem.

But did I hear/read correctly somewhere that you guys are actually going to have someone from Funimation come onto the show?
Can't you see? He's the man. Let me hear you applaud. He's more than a man! He's a shiny golden god!

That was easily the most enjoyable daizex podcast I've listened to. Kudos to the whole group.

And I'd love to see/hear Rock the Dragon in the DBOX. Perhaps use it as menu music (doesn't have to be the main menu) for the discs that contain the Saiya-jin and Namek sagas, as a nostalgic nod to DBZ's imperfect beginnings in America?

As the person who brought FUNi feedback email into the forums saying, "Hey, email FUNi if you think it's a problem," I have this today...

Yes, yes. We were "bitching" about the possible need for seven discs... but we didn't get the results of that number crunching until the end of following weekend after the Otakon announcement! Give us a break!

Other than that, great episode. I liked it and pretty well agreed with what was said.

You're absolutely right, Daimao should have definitely been invited.
