About the 12 Gods of Destruction

How would you feel if the other 11 GoD turn out to be:

1) Just 11 Beerus recolors?
2) Just 11 different cats? (just like GT Evil Dragons)

1 - We're getting some recolors these days, but so far its just for transformations. Do you think Toriyama would go that far if he reveals the other 11 Gods?!
I would hate this option.
I want the 12 GoD to be from different races and each one have unique appearances and techniques. If the transformations recolors already divided the fanbase, this would create a war.

2 - Not a bad idea, I guess. It's definitely better than the 1º option and could be a good concept. Still disappointed, because it isn't what I wish (when it comes to different races).

In both scenarios, each one could still have their unique abilities, though.

Design wise i'm hoping they go the Egyptian gods route with the other Gods of destruction like they did with Beerus,it would also be nice if they had alcohol related names as well.

If AT was planning to base them around the Gods of Egypt, this would be unavoidable as how most of the Egyptian gods have animal-like features.

There is absolutely and literally no reason the 12 Gods of Destruction should all look like Beerus.

In any case, I'm sure we will never see all 12 Gods; in true Toriyama fashion, some are probably already dead, or are just good guys, or will simply never be written in the story (similar to the normal Gods/Kais/Makais).

I am certainly against Beerus re-colours, and shinmaru stated, I don't want the other Gods of destruction to be effectively a zoo of characters. Give me some unique and surprising.

I'd want them all to look very different from one another, not necessarily different animals, but original designed species as well.

Make Broly one of them XD, but nah, i prefer them to be of various races and something new. Hell a curve ball like a legendary Namek or human would be welcomed to me. I just hope they go all out and don't resort to designs like Demigra or something. Characters like Lord Slug, Turles, Broly, Cooler, and hatchiyak were appealing. Just for the love of Kai don't make anymore androids.

In BoG Whis offers Goku the chance to take over as God of Destruction once Beerus dies, and in RoF Beerus likewise thinks Goku might be after his job, so it seems that Gods of Destruction are recruited from amongst the general population, unlike the Kaio/Kaioshins who are all members of the same race (of fruit people). So based on that, there'd be no reason to expect any of the other ones would look like Beerus. Heck, the Gods of Destruction for the other universes are presumable native to those universes, so they may look extremely different from anything found in Universe #7. OK, if they ever turn up they probably won't look too out there, since they're still presumably be designed by Toriyama (but insert "the other universes are other Jump series" joke here).

I would like a variety of races to represent the Gods.

- One Saiyan God
- One Namekian God
- One Mutant God
- One Human God
- One Tsufuru God
- One Cyborg God
- One Demon God

I just want them to all look unique and interesting, I wouldn't mind a theme that ties them together in some way, as long as they don't look very similar to each other. Beerus is an awesome design partly because he looks absolutely nothing like anything that came before and I'd want them to continue doing that for the others.

We can't assume that all gods of destruction are recruited, some may be born into the job, others may have taken the job by force.
If we take Universe 7 and stretch them into the other universes then there is bound to be Saiyan, Human, and Namekian "LIKE" races in the other universes but that's just my guess...

What about the original Super Saiyan God, whatever happened to him? He beat the evil Saiyans and lived happily ever after, or was he the God of Destruction before Beerus? I'm actually curious of the other Gods of Destruction ever met? But would there ever be reason to since their universes to the specific god.

In BoG, Shenlong says the original Super Saiyan God ran out of time with his transformation, so as a result he and the rest of the good Saiyans got wiped out by the evil ones.

Not yet. Your initial post is about the Hakaishin from the other 11 universes being Beerus recolors or whatever. We have no confirmation yet that Fat!Beerus is from another universe. The way everything has been worded up till now, there can be multiple Hakaishin in just Universe 7. So you have another step to go before you claim victory. =P

We don't even know for sure if fat!Beerus is a God of Destruction. It seems that way, since he apparently comes complete with his own Whis-style sidekick, but nothing's concrete yet. Still, this does make "each God of Destruction is a cat like Beerus" a more likely proposition, even if it's not definitive.

I'm more than sure this one the Gods of Destruction, he must be. As if the one with him is an attendant, then he is from another universe. The hierarchy should be similar in each universes, nothing suggests otherwise so far. I'd like to think the new characters are siblings of Beerus and Whis, or people of Beerus & Whis races from our universe who were chosen for the jobs of one of the other universes. Maybe the former Hakaishin of that universe returned and this fat Beerus-like guy wants Beerus(his borther) to help him against that other God. We should wait and see.
