First, Super Saiyan God looks about the same as the one in the poster in Toei's office. But he has flame like red aura instead of yellow.

Does Vegeta go SS3? And how does pilaf and the gang get turned into kids?

Are the hair red, or they just glow? Is the form temporary? How does he achieve it? Are there any special effects during the transformation?

Is the hair standing up like SSJ or is it just shaped like the normal state (as it was in the image from Toei's offices)?

Kinda bummed to hear that, the new form didn't have to be flashy but that art felt underwhelming when I saw the picture of it on Toei's door. Basically looks more like a Super Kaio-Ken form, rather than a Super Saiyan Form.

Did Whis end up doing anything?

No he doesn't, but he once becomes stronger than Goku because of his anger against Bills slapping Bulma. As for Pilaf's gang, they have become young because they gathered all the dragon Balls themselves and wished for youth, but Senglong made them a little but too young.
