Daizenshu VS Chozenshu

Any recommendations on wether I should get the Daizenshuu or Chozenshuu guidebooks? Which is better?

The Daizenshuu are 7-8 books that cover everything from the start of the manga till the end of GT.

The Chozenshuu are 4 larger books that cover everything in the Daizenshuu but also cover the 3 new OVAs, the 1st Kai and the BOG movie.

We might get something new within the next few years or even less so you might want to wait a big before getting anything.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I... don't see the joke there...?

Anyway, as linked, we've covered the books extensively here on the site. Anything you need to know is there. If you can get the Chouzenshuu, there's really no reason to get the Daizenshuu beyond maybe the Carddass volumes just to say you have them.

Just to set the record straight, I'm pretty sure only the very first Daizenshu has ever been translated to English. You may have already known that (and presumably don't care) but I know that fact eluded me for a while when I first discovered these.

Yes, alongside material from BOG, the 2008 OVA, Episode of Bardock & the 2010 remake of the plan to destroy the Saiyans.

It's gonna be very hard to find daizenshu in Chinese so I'm gonna try to pick up the chogashu instead. It's coming out next week in Hong Kong.

Have you tried the US English Daizenshuu 1? Its readily available on Viz.com, Amazon.com, etc... to buy!

I have it already. I saw sample pages of the Chogashu. Looks even better.
