He should have done something about it like the anime did. Honestly the anime did the right choice at the cost of creating a paradox.Doctor. wrote:And yet Toyotaro still felt the need to draw Zamasu taking Monaka's body, so he's aware the choice didn't make much sense.OLKv3 wrote:In the manga, Goku pretty much dominated Hit the moment he started using God ki. Wow, that Zamasu Toriyama drew looks great.
It's a joke, you're supposed to suspend your disbelief there.Doctor. wrote:I agree completely but that's an issue with Toriyama's writing and you're not allowed to talk smack about Toriyama unless you want the thought police to come and get you.dbzfan7 wrote:I consider the bigger hole being nobody can somehow tell he's an amateur immediately.
I'm pretty sure it's just separated because of lack of space and it probably isn't his name as well.Meshack wrote:Gosenzo-sama means ancestor but it's written separately, meaning Gosen and Zosama are the names of the 6th Universe's attendant and the Old Kaioshin

Why would you read into a gag?Doctor. wrote: And yet Toyotaro still felt the need to draw Zamasu taking Monaka's body, so he's aware the choice didn't make much sense.

Toriyama's drawn Zamasu looks so good!
I really enjoy these volume bonuses.

No comment on Goku-Black standing on the hill top yet?
Well he is, ready to pounce at any time
Also that is clearly Merged Shin+Kibito(light purple skin color like Shin), standing at the U6 stand and not Kibito(who has red skin color)
Also realized now the name Kibitoshin makes even more sense!
Though "Shinto " is also a possibility.

Little details that make all the difference!Cipher wrote:Full amateur-hour (but accurate) translations ahoy.

"I'd drawn Kaioshin in this style, being surprised by Zamasu's remarks, but received the correction, 'Please let him have a little more dignity.'
That became a valuable reference in drawing Zamasu and Kaioshin moving forward. Thank you, Toriyama-sensei."
That's Akira Toriyama for ya. He will always know his characters better than anyone else.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
No, he drew that because Vegeta asks Goku why Zamasu didn't steal his or Monaka's body. It's a gag on that, you're trying to create a problem that doesn't existDoctor. wrote:And yet Toyotaro still felt the need to draw Zamasu taking Monaka's body, so he's aware the choice didn't make much sense.OLKv3 wrote:In the manga, Goku pretty much dominated Hit the moment he started using God ki. 5, I think it was. Don't quote me on that.Rouge the Bat wrote:By the way, how many chapters are there in DB SUPER #03, please?!...
Retired.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
it will be 5. and vol 4 will also most likely have 5. We can expect 190 - 220 page volumes. Also it would be nice if the next chapter is the last one so that vol 3 & 4 can be entirely Goku black saga.Rouge the Bat wrote:By the way, how many chapters are there in DB SUPER #03, please?!...

Are those first two images supposed to be those bonus pages inbetween the chapters?
What's the relevance with the Elder Kai one?

Exactly, they are bonus pages.Bullza wrote:

That's future elder. He is just saying he died after future Dabra destroyed the Z sword he was sealed in. We already kind of knew this, now it's totally confirmed.

Oh right Future Elder Kai of course, I didn't pick up on that but yeah I guess he would have died.Basako wrote:Exactly, they are bonus pages.

Strange the first two images are bonus pages. They didn't do that with the other pages did they? It was just the extra panel shots, I don't recall any explanations of any changes that were used as bonus pages in the other two volumes.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I haven't seen the volumes myself yet. I'm not sure how they are placed and what is included. I read there was an image of Krilin imagining Frost in second form and also another one of Fost preparing the sting with poison to use in battle.Bullza wrote:Oh right Future Elder Kai of course, I didn't pick up on that but yeah I guess he would have died.Basako wrote:Exactly, they are bonus pages.

Why doesn't Merged Zamasu have zenkais?

Perhaps his creator had forgotten about them.OLKv3 wrote:Why doesn't Merged Zamasu have zenkais?

Maybe it has something to do with his immortality. He can't be near to death or at any distance at all from it. There is no real curing in his restorations, so no Zenkais.OLKv3 wrote:Why doesn't Merged Zamasu have zenkais?

Didn't he exhaust them after bringing Goku's body to it's top potential aka Rosé? I think something like that was mentioned or implied.OLKv3 wrote:Why doesn't Merged Zamasu have zenkais?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
That was the case for Goku & Vegeta, yes. With Goku Black matching their equivalent, current status with Super Saiyan Rosé, you could think that he exhausted them, too.

I'm reading Volume 1 at the moment and they have a bunch of these pages.Basako wrote:I haven't seen the volumes myself yet. I'm not sure how they are placed and what is included. Vegeta practising his bingo dance. Him being disappointed that he couldn't perform it. Beerus telling Goku he's the second strongest he's ever fought. Magetta upset over his mediocre test score. Goku punching Monaka in the face. Sorbet being shown in Hell.
No bonus pages with Toyotarou explaining any changes or anything like that before which is why I wondered if they're were supposed to be bonus pages.
