It's hard to tell if they're plastic or glass. Either they're really strong plastic meant to simulate glass or they're actually glass from what I can tell. I'm just not willing throw throw one on the ground really hard to find out.

You mean the scouter in your Avatar isn't a DBox one? Where'd you get it then? Or is that pic not of you? :?

Amen, there can only be one ;p

To answer though, yes there are some glitches with the DVD encodes on these sets...thing is, these came out when, 1997? 1998? DVD was relatively new at the time and nearly every release had some glitches.

Now, 10 years later, FUNimation is one of the few companies who still can't get DVD encoding right ;p

Two Coreys live in my house! ^_^;; Wait, what, that was offtopicIprobablyshouldn'tpost...

Peh, *wants a scouter* *not quite enough to warrant EBay or a D-Box*

(I haven't checke the recent posts on the first page yet... but do you still have the "this item has been sold" notices in the original post? Meh, it just feels kinda like it would better to just remove them entirely, but that's just me... who as you can tell is out of touch with reality. XD )

[edit] Awe crap! Pluralizing propper names is annoying! ... And I don't know if I spelled "proper" right. Shoot, I'd better stop before I annoy anyone else... T.T [/edit]
[edit again] Oh, right, you addressed the "sold" / "shipped" issue. Just ignore me... [/edit again]

Kendamu, you've just made my day. I'm definitely picking up one of those! I'm assuming this one you just wear though, it's not a walkie-talkie like the DBox ones?

Oldphan - Thanks for the positive feedback. You are a trustworthy customer and I'm glad you enjoy the DVDs.

Gyt Kaliba - It's not electronic in any way. It's just a cosplay item. It still impresses all the DB fans I have as friends, though.

Captain Awesome - Done and replied. You're not the only one interested in these so I'll try and figure out shipping for you ASAP. If there ends up being a dispute over who gets 'em I might just put 'em on eBay and have you duke it out there.

Electronic or not, I still want one. I think it actually looks nicer than the DBox ones in a way, it doesn't have a mic wrapping in front of your mouth.

Ick :(, half the reason I jumped at these was the lack of Ebay, I really need these sets though.., anyway if it does work out, I can get the money to you pretty much immediately.

Just let me know.

Well, the other interested party passed on them and you paid for them. So, it's resolved.

Wow, those scouters on Ebay are way to expensive! I bought two of them when in Japan (Yeah, Pikachu is wearing one of them) and while I can't seem to find my receipts right now, they were not even 1000yen, so that should be around 8 dollars ~_~

I managed to get a full set of the five items in that series for less than $20. Of course, that was at a con, and I bought them from a booth run by the store I work for, and they had them selling at a discount (I think they were selling for like $8 at the store)
