Funpisode. :D (I think I actually don't like the fake word I just made up, this time. :( ).

I haven't seen many equation-based debates... but I've only really been 'round here.
Mostly I've seen math used to compare characters who did similar training (Specifically, Goku Vs Tenshinhan type things) that start during the Battle Power era, but are never answered because they lead into the post-battle-power-era.

For me, though, there's one specific math-based thing I kinda keep going back to just because it's fun simple algebra (I did just use hte word fun in reference to algebra. XD ).
Ur, well, so I screwed it up several times while thinking through it just now. Basically, I take a comment on the change in Buu's power when Gotenks splits inside of him, and try to use that to come up with how fusion works based on the power of the fusees... but I won't pretend that says much; it's just fun to contribute to a discussion and play with algebra at the same time. (And the math I use isn't particularly amazing, so I guess I'm just showing off to myself. XD . Though I've discovered that saying "divide by Piccolo" is somewhat amusing.).

Still, the one that comes to mind most is people trying to find a post-Namek power for Tenshinhan. (Feels somewhat ironic in the context of this episode for a reason I'd feel annoying to point out. :oops: ).

Good podcast, though the screwy microphone was a little bit annoying.

I've only been to one anime con, and none of the people there had a Dragon Ball cosplay. There was a Luffy and Nami cosplay though, so that certainly made my day. Hopefully the one I'm going to in March will have some Dragon Ball cosplays....

Also, did anyone notice the Spanish DBGT DVD listed the episodes as 57-65?

DBZ in Danish = Yay!!! I am Danish, thus I'm so glad that, Mike, you can check it out.

Otherwise, good podcast. I tried to make some Saiyajin a year ago, epic fail! I'll try again this summer.

Oh haha, I understand the unmentioned comment now.

I betcha if I manage to do a mix for GT's final DAN DAN Kokoro Hikarete 'ku, Mike will actually remember who did it! ;;

I think this is the second time I've been mentioned in the podcast without being named directly. XD

I guess it's too late now, but belated good luck to Julian on taking the JLPT level 1!

A whole topic on cospay, and not a single link to any sort of pictures.

For shame.

(Fun podcast though)

There's a thread in the fanworks section for cosplay...

Unless you're talking about the cosplayers mentioned/in the podcast.

I tend to avoid any math-related arguments in general. I love to be able to prove stuff when I have actual, tangible evidence to back me up; but these power level arguments rarely ever have that.

Very cool podcast, really hoping you guys do another cosplay-related one in the near future, hopefully with Quantum in tow! Also, maybe someday, Mike and Meri can invite over a good deal of the New Jersey residents here on the forums for some grand podcast, maybe for episode 200? That'd be quite cool IMO, I think Chu and Kaboom live around there also. :D

Uh yeah, you can go to the cosplay thread over at the Fan-Created Works section, but I hope it's all right to post a few photos here:

These are from "Dragon Ball Friday" (as opposed to "DBZ Saturday", which was mentioned in the episode). As you can see, our small group decided to cosplay characters from the original series. You can see Kat as Yamcha and me as Kuririn. QuantumDestiny is the awesomely amazing Goku, and her sister Glay is the equally awesomely amazing Chi Chi.

Unfortunately, I don't have any good photos of the Dragon Ball/One Piece crossover cosplay. I'd also love to post some of the Kuririn/18 photos we took with Maggie's camera (yeah, Maggie of Lovely Cyborg) because they're pretty amusing... but I want to ask her if it's okay to link them. ^^;

Lucky for you, I have the crossover pics since my camera was used to take them! For those unaware, Kinoko is Luffy, Kat is Nami ... and I'm Goku. =D

I have a bunch of pictures of all the DB cosplay I saw/was in Friday and Saturday, which includes the lovely ladies who partook in the podcast. Since I kidnap them and make them do costumes with me and stuff.

Awesome pics! And Aly, I hope it's not an insult or flirty thing to say ya' look good as Goku-as-Luffy. XD

You have my permission!

Finals are over for me in Japan. (Sorry, this is my poor excuse for why I never ever post here. I wonder how Julian did on his proficiency test ...)

Anyway, good call on the lack of pictures. Post some links to galleries for the listeners out there! I'll just throw up my faves from this past Otakon

Some mentioned in the podcast of #18 and (the perfect height) Kuririn:

WOW!! My first podcast ... ever. Happened totally by accident while I was playing around on the main site and trying to download stuff to my flash drive with my work computer.

I do have one question, Is there a way to actually download it instead of opening in Window Media Player? Cuz as cool as it was to finally hear a podcast, it wasn't so cool that it came up while I was on a call with a client (i work in a tech support call center).

Well, you would download it the same way you'd download any file... right-click and "Save As".

... Or, you can subscribe in iTunes (or whatever other software you use) and have it automatically download new episodes as they come out :).

Well, depending on where in New Jersey these people live, I may be as short as a 30 - 45 minute drive, to up to a couple of hours. I live at the very southern Tip of Connecticut. But the thing is, I don't think I am well liked enough or respected, or whatever enough to ever get on the podcast (sadface)

Ha ha, especially considering I made two accounts, made a topic about bootlegs, and had my topic about re-editing the trailer closed. My only cred being I have been around forever and use to hang around PlanetNamek.com and Vegeta Insane way back in the day, lol.

Anyway, good podcast, I don't listen to all of them, but this one caught my attention, good job guys. And I wasn't annoyed by the fading voice problem, I was just bothered by the fact that I couldn't hear everything she was saying, but I got most of it.

Thank you. I had totally not thought of that. Great! Now I can listen to the podcasts now ... and catch up on the older ones ... all one hundred and fifty three of them ...
