Actually, my friend, you were born four days after the very first chapter! Now feel special! :D

Hahaha, you're right, I didn't notice i was talking about the first volume, not the first chapter.
So 4 days, after Dragon Ball started in SJ i was born...nice 8)
Who is the closest born to the first appearance of Dragon Ball in Shonen Jump?. It'll be awesome to find someone born on the exact same day..

Having been born in 1981, I was three years old when the Manga started, so volume 1 and episode 1. >.>

I'm so ancient.

Yeah, I'm with the group born before the series started.

Episode: 105
Furiiza Yabureru!! Subete no Ikari o Kometa Ichigeki
(Freeza Defeated!! A Single Blast Packed With a Totailty of Rage)
Airdate: 8/28/91

Haha, that's cool. That's my birthday... I really hope that episode isn't boring, though. I should probably go check my DVDs.

Manga Volume: 28
Mirai kara Kita Shounen
(The Boy From the Future)
Release: 11/15/91

Volume 27 was released nearly a week before my birth, but I think this volume actually corresponds with my episode.

I couldn't find which individual chapter was released after my birth, though.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm just a tad slow. Ch. 338 was released 9/9/91. Woo?

Wow, this thread got popular!

I have a quick question. What happened on episode 133 of DBZ? I don't own that part of the series, and I can't find an episode description for it anywhere.

"Even Greater, The Remade Gohan goes To Earth..."

It actually aired a month and 3 days after my birth. It seems they took a big break. The previous episode aired a day before. :?

It was the debut of Ultimate Gohan.

There's a lot of younger people here than I thought. By younger, I mean younger than 20.

Just turned eighteen, my brother. 8)

What I find interesting is the lack of those over thirty.

I've only met one Dragonball fan that was significantly older than myself. When I was 16, he was in his mid-thirties. He didn't really seem like the forum-going type, though. I'm pretty sure that's what it's like for a lot of older Dragonball fans. Seems that the people who were teens or younger back when Dragonball forums were everywhere are the ones most likely to be found on Dragonball forums now.

What'll be really interesting when it comes to age is if places like this one still exist in about ten years.

I suspect the average age of the intelligent DB fan is around 16-20.
