"Doubler" for Dabura probably takes the cake for me. It was the name he had on the manga scans at Planet Namek's site.

I was in an Mexican chat room and one guy pronounced the Ginyu Special Corps' names like this:

Mantequilla(Butter, actual Spanish name is Boter)
Yogurt (Yogurt, actual Spanish name is Gurdo)
Queso (Cheese, actual Spanish name is Yis)
Crema (Cream, actual Spanish name is Reecoome)
Leche (Milk, actual Spanish name is Ginyu)

Not exactly wrong, but it is weird he called them by their "products" and not their names

I guess he used the names "Castaña" (Kuririn), "Son Arroz Caliente" (Gohan), "Maestro de los Tortugas" (Kame Sennin), "Congelador" (Freeza), "Principe Verdura" (Prince Vegeta), and "Zanahoria" (Kakarrot). :P
No more time for Daizex. Goodbye folks!

JACKSON!!! -Jheese's name on a bootleg DVD's subtitles
Jenempa- Is Funimation still using this name for the fat form of Janemba or did they ditch that idea?
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

I always thought "Janempa" was a simple, yet hilariously brilliant way to separate the two forms than constantly writing "Fat Janemba" and "Janemba."

To be honest, when watching the movie, it sounded like "Janemba" either way.

Yeah out of all the name changes it isn't incredibly intrusive. It may lead to some confusing conversations though.

What the hell did it say on the toy boxes? Chiatsu? Something bizarre like that for our clown face boy. This was from 01, maybe 02.

I've heard people use Crillin, Cillin, and Cillian for Krillin.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

Dr. Gary for Dr. Gero on a bootleg and a year or two before FUNi began their own dub ('98 I think) I saw Mr.Satan's name as Hercules on the back of some toy box for mini figures. So I wasn't surprised when they changed his name to Hercule.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

"18 Gou" for #18.

Yeah, it's technically correct, but... why would you do that? It makes no sense.
