Episode #0176! VegettoEX, Meri, and Julian bring on Herms (and eventually Hujio) from "Kanzentai" to discuss the recent "Super Exciting Guide" books from Japan. While there is plenty of recycled information, the new bits that we do get (such as Mr. Satan's real name and the Makaioshin) are intriguing beyond belief. Video game news, your e-mails, and a contest to give away the two "Super Exciting Guide" books round out the episode! Referenced sites:

My favorite model's were "Spine Axs", "NEO Tridagger Z" and "Hurricane Sonic".
Do you read Genshiken?

What? You think I'd get one of those crazy things from the alternate universes? There's a difference between a Super-Prototype (Gundam) built to impress the brass and downgraded to a cheaper mass-produced form (GMs), and a Super Hot-Rod that's just meant to compensate as much as possible be as awesome as possible.JulieYBM wrote:Oh thank God.
You bought a manly Gundam.

lol I remember writing a bad fanfic about an evil megalomaniac Kaio that had a grudge with the current Kaio about four years ago. The explanation for their absence from the series was that they were killed off by Boo, except for the antagonist character.
It's not a particularly random coincidence, since quite a few belief systems have the classic good/evil duality. I'm sure quite a few other fanfic writers have done this too. Toriyama just took it several (many) steps further with the tree and fruit.
Edit: Actually, didn't the fan manga of AF do this as well with an evil Kai?

It's been stated that it's a random-drawing contest, and it is indeed a random-drawing contest. Coming up with a name just adds an extra entry into the mix for you. Two is better than one, in terms of your chances of winning.Rod wrote:I got a question about the contest, how are the winners selected? IS it the best name or what? and, is there international shipping?
We'll ship anywhere. We don't care!

Wow, that apple talk with the Kais and Kaioshin... just wow. I can just imagine a little Tori-bot in an interview coming up with all this stuff on the spot.
Awesome episode of KanzenshuuEX. Hope to see more of 'em. When else do we get a robo-Julian?

Sort of. The mastermind villian in Toyble's AF manga is West Kaioshin, one of the ones that Boo supposedly killed. After being all but killed by Boo, she (well, I guess she's not really a she) floated through space in pain for a long time, which basically drove her crazy.yamicell2501 wrote:Edit: Actually, didn't the fan manga of AF do this as well with an evil Kai?
