Lol at Naruto at the #9 spot. I think One Piece should be on the list instend of Naruto IMO.

Gotta say, Naruto shouldn't be on there at all, while HNK should be #1.

I don't see how DB could possibly be seen as "manlier" than HNK.

...B-but... Nothing is manlier than Fist of the North Star!

What I'm most surprised about is that Beserker isn't even on the list at all.
Gutts is at least just as manly as Kenshiro.

The reasoning for why DB is number 1 is probably because most people remember it from their childhood and perhaps have higher regards for it.

Obviously fan polls are retarded IMO.

Of course it's retarded, the televised home of the great Kamina-sama isn't even on there. God these are stupid polls.

EDIT- o_o Oh. Manga. I didn't even notice it said manga.... carry on then.

I gotta say that while I do think more of older shounen series (like stuff from the 70's and 80's) if asked about "manly" types, but even while I would rank DB on the list, it certainly wouldn't be #1 for manliest. I might rank it 5th.

And I agree with B, Naruto should not be on that list.

Also, where is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann? For such a recent series that one oozed old-school testosterone.
On hiatus.

Kenshiro only needs a poke from a finger, and Goku is dead! (Tao Pai Pai needs to learn more from him  ))

But yay, Kinnikuamn and Tiger Mask are in! :D

What else could be in? One Piece of course. It's a series that no one dies in a battle... ever!!

And Bobobo-bo Bobo, since you can't kill a gag character, and because it's series cancelled for being "Too Violent" ((yeah right  )).

Am I the only one annoyed that Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon didn't get on the list? *grumbles*

Last I checked Gurren Lagann isn't based on a manga, but why the hell is Gundam on there? Yeah, Dragon Ball at Number 1 is a bit obscure. My list, based of what I've read and seen, would be something like this.

1. Fist of The North Star
2. Devilman (and its sequel Violence Jack)
3. Vagabond
4. Dragon Ball
5. Kinnikuman
6. Slam Dunk
7. Eyeshield 21
8. Rurouni Kenshin
9. Naruto
10. One Piece

As much as I like One Piece, Naruto definitely deals with coming of age much more seriously.

Gundam and Gurren Lagann both have manga adaptations, I guess that counts.

Being able to pull off those gay poses just goes to show how secure they are in their manliness.
