Ah, so he was pulling a prank on us. Well, that was a pretty well-done prank. He made the video look like it was taped off of Fuji TV. And I'm guessing he just took a sound clip from one of the games.

Even if it's not confirmed, it's obvious that Kai will be a whole Z series........ I don't understand all of those shocked messages wondering about possibility of Kai being complete Z.
I think Wasted Wisher probably knows, because when Fuji broadcasted a scene from Cell saga by mistake, I doubt that there aren't any re-drawn scenes anymore, so if Wasted Wisher is still working on Dragon Ball Kai, he can tell for sure that it'll be complete until Buu arc.

There was a thread not too long ago about Kai possibly ending this spring, but from what I can tell two months later, the "Digimon Around" info really was fake. But this is still true:

However, someone in the chat pointed out that Toei's shop is listing Kai as being planned for only 17 DVDs and 50 episodes. So, new Digimon or not, Kai really could end with Freeza, even though it's doing great in the ratings and costs jack to produce.

The listing even points out that the 17th disc will only have 2 episodes on it (and a reduced price to match), when all the others will have 3 each. (16 * 3 = 48, +2 = 50, for anyone who's bad at math.) I've also noticed the same thing for the Blu-ray boxes. In this listing for the third box, it mentions that there will be four boxes total, and the fourth will only have 11 episodes. And the third box ends with 39, so the Blu-rays would also end with 50.

In a quick search, I can't really find any other hints of Kai ending other than Toei's shop, though. It could just mean they're going to change the name of the series after 50 ("Dragon Ball Kai Z", "Dragon Ball Kai 2", "Super Dragon Ball Kai", etc), or maybe they're just not going to release 51+ on home video, or at least not in the same manner.

It doesn't really surprise me, but I was mostly just trying to point out that there was an official source for the 50 episodes thing, and it wasn't entirely just some rumor made up by random fanboys.

So much for getting a "Dragon Ball Kai Z," though. At least FUNimation will almost make my dream come true.

Well going back to the main topic, while it is sad that Mr. Gouri passed I am actually relieved they're trying to cover his passing. I honestly did not agree with people who said Kai SHOULD NOT continue because of his passing. The Freeza arc would have been a natural closer point but I'm glad their moving on. But honestly I mean both Tenshinhan and Dende's seiyuu passed and they were replaced with decent seiyuu. I can somewhat understand if anything happened to Masako Nozawa because she really carries the show but DBK has displayed its not averse to changing voice actors for whatever reason since so far I believe Tenshinhan, Dende, Muten Roshi, ChiChi, and the Ginyu Force have all been recast. I don't see how Gouri should be some exception just because his voice oozed awesome.

I... guess that's a "recasting", but since that was done back in the 90s during the original run of DBZ, I have a hard time classifying it under the "Kai Voice Replacements" category. I guess it's a weird situation.
