Can any notice the 35 mm episode in Z?
I was at my friends house and we watched the episode where frieza impaled Kuririn(which is a 35mm episode) on his dragon box and then we watched the episode were goku went ssj(16mm episode) and I didnt notice a difference in quality, then I went home and watched the same exact episode on my orange brick and I didn't notice a difference, then I watched it on kai DVD and i noticed a big differance, then I watched kai on Blu-ray and i noticed a huge difference, why is this?

The masters for episodes 73-80 FUNimation most likely recieved were 16mm duplicates to match the remaining episodes.

They *do* look significantly different on the Dragon Boxes and season sets, actually. It must've been your friend's TV. The picture is sharper and the colors are a lot different. Brighter, more vibrant, no pink skin tones, etc.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Yeah, and there are stronger yellows and oranges. They look much more natural, though oranges seem a very tad greenish.jjgp1112 wrote:They *do* look significantly different on the Dragon Boxes and season sets, actually. While the sharpness is definitely there on the Dragon Boxes, I especially noticed the sharpness while watching Kai on TV. The 35mm episodes scenes really jumped out from the rest while watching them.
