I was psyched when I heard Goku was stopped by Bils in his SSJ3 form with a finger, but this doesn't look like that. There isn't even a struggle. Looks more like Bils is pointing out Goku as weak or something.

Goku's pretty perceptive in a fight. So maybe he transforms, rushes Bils (like in that one shot in the trailer perhaps), and is forced to stop just short of his attack when Bils raises that finger...and Goku senses enough power to take him down from just that alone. Or something.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I took it at first like he literally blocked an attack from Goku with his finger or something. Kinda like the Trunks' sword/Goku's finger thing that someone brought up earlier.

Yeah, that doesn't really discourage the movie at all. It still looks like it may be good. With Toriyama supporting the movie it could be the best

While I agree that Vegetto making an appearance is unlikely, I don't understand this argument. Can't the Kaioshins just create new ones? How were they made in the first place?

Kinda looks to me like in tho midst of rushing him ala the trailer Bils just stops him in his tracks with his finger... maybe he zips in front of goku as he is rushing him and goku stops when he realizes he is in front with bills finger on his forehead.... knowing of his power to destroy things with just js finger (turn them to sand and what not).

I noticed that quite a few people want to see Gogeta in this film. I would rather him be a Movie 12/GT exclusive.

Same here. Not every character from the DBZ movies and special need to be bring into the manga universe. Bardock was nice to have, but I rather not have Gogeta appear again.

Looking at the screen shots again, I got to say I really like the glowing light effect they used for when the characters are Super Saiyan or have an aurora around them. It's a nice touch.

I have to say that Goku in that pic is stopping and in shock. Arms to the back with head to the front means forward movement, and is clear that Bils appeared in front of Goku and stopped him with a poke to the head. If you mean "beat him with a finger" that's another thing altogether. Bils IS stopping him.

No, if you zoom in on the image or recheck the trailer, you can see that that's her actual height.

I'm still utterly baffled by their absence; perhaps they'll make a surprise appearance at the end? There's still a hidden figure that could be either of them (probably wishful thinking at this point) and the God of Creation role still has to be filled, so there's a chance that they can still squeeze into this film somehow.

I'd like to think that they show up and somehow play a role in helping Goku defeat Birusu.

Or Uisu was the one that locked the Elder Kaioshin away...nah.

Battle of God is not a manga published by Shueisha, it's a movie made by Toei Animation (the company that created Gogeta).

Like Hellspawn28 said, appearantly, the Kaioshins won't appear in the movie. Kaio is back with the role of main god in the DB universe.
