Everytime when he was asking something to do, he did put questions back like, who is this one of that one, when he was asked to bring someone back to life for example. Now in this film he knows about a despair which no one else knows, otherwise no one would have wish that, or at least our heroes wouldn't.
I'm pretty sure Porunga didn't know that by himself. Goku just told him he didn't want to come back, just like he told that he wanted to stay on Namek to finish Freeza off.
He refused to be revived in Cell arc end too. In the end, he's the one who decides.
-Talking about non canon-
I always felt there always was a special connection between Goku and Shenlong. His dragon fist and his farewell in GT proves that.

I'm not talking about that, but that event after the Namek clash when they wanted Porunga to resurrect Goku, but Porunga told them that he is alive and Goku didn't want to come back to Earth because he wants to train on Planet Yardrat.

The Dragon Balls are ancient. Even the Elder Kaioshin knows about them so the Namekians being able to create them is probably just a gift of the Kaioshin with the rules to only use them when necessary. It would also be fitting with the whole "I know so much because I am Shen Long" story.

DongHyun found this page -
http://www.shonenjump.com/j/saikyo/
If I read it correctly, Saikyo will have a copy of DB15's poster in the next issue.
If someone with better translation skills than me could double-check, it'd be appreciated.
On hiatus.

Yes we are, they said something about news for the movie, but they didn't specify. Leaks should be out in the 18th or 19th if we're lucky.

Kinda seems like a double-sided poster for this film and the new Naruto film that readers can tear out or something. I am going by what I can make of the Google translation though. I think there's still a chance for the other magazines to show us something good.

My thoughts are VJump may also have the poster, but if you want one on high-quality paper as an insert rather than a regular ad page, Saikyo is the place.

Ohhhhhh FUCK this stupid movie.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

...Well, looks like Goku and Vegeta get new outfits.
So how the hell can Freeza bring despair at his level of power? I really hope Toriyama knows what he's doing. We've already seen the resurrection plot done a few times by TOEI. Not to mention, Tagoma and Sorbet being remnants of Freeza's army is just like Abo & Kado. If we're going back to the Freeza plot, I'd prefer King Cold--he actually had some potential, as opposed to Freeza who I feel was played out.

Who's that guy above Krillin in green? It's Goten? I'm not happy at all that Frieza is the one. I'm certain Frieza will have in some way a Godly power-up, but still it's very lame to bring him back. Not to mention that Shenlon couldn't bring villains back, cuz they are evil.

That's really weird, but also really interesting. I wonder how Freeza is going to be a menace now that the Saiyans are at the level they are.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Oh man, I'm not happy. This sounds like a bad fan-fic just waiting to happen.
I'll believe in Toriyama for now, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
