I was really hoping they'd go with Revival, but it's a good title; certainly better than I expected.

I just don't get it. American comics and movies do it all the times. What counts is how you use that character to create a good and entertaining story without it boiling down to mere fanservice. I understand why people may feel FnF, in particular, is shaping up to be like a fanfic, but i've been seeing this argument since Freeza was announced to be coming back.-.-

I don't get it neither. I mean Batman is known to fight The Joker many times, Superman always tend to fight Lex and Zod, Spider-Man is always known to fight The Green Goblin, Doc Ock and Venom and Godzilla is always known to fight King Ghidorah and Mecha Godzilla. I see no problem bringing back Freeza when Goku has not fought Freeza since Namek. It been so long since Goku has fought against Freeza.

Yeah, it's straightforward and accurate as could be. Not that I expected anything too wild and crazy, seeing as how faithful they were with BoG, but I wouldn't have been surprised for them to use Freeza's full name in the title rather than just "F". Wouldn't really have minded, but I'm happy they didn't, if only because this makes thing simpler.

And hopefully we won't be seeing "The 'F' in Fukkatsu" around anymore.

It's not more accurate, but there's no real loss in meaning, and it's snappier.

Oh thank god we don't have to wait a whole year for this like BoG. So glad Funi and Toei were thinking ahead with this film and are going to take advantage of the new wave of popularity DBZ is experiencing. I hope this leads to bigger and better things in the future. Also can't wait to see Freeza-sama on the big screen so soon!

He doesn't/shouldn't have to do shit in regards to GT. I hope he does all he can to retcon that story out of existence. Forget all about it, disregard it. It's not his story. I understand the problem you guys have with Toriyama creating inconsistencies with the new movies...but how on Kami's green earth can you have that mindset, yet still want GT to be recognized? GT is full of inconsistencies and plotholes.

As far as we know, GT doesn't exist in the BoG/FnF timeline. And honestly I pray that it never exists in the timeline. It doesn't belong there.

Whatever man, you you can complain all you want, but you can't change the fact that GT is indeed official if Toriyama wants to begin a new DB manga story he have all the rights to ignore GT, but when he do as animated series he must take GT into account.

I disagree with Vegeta's dance being a flaw. I loved it. I thought it was great that Vegeta was able to toss out his pride like that for the greater good.

"Everybody givng Goku energy to win" isn't a concept just from the movies. That happens in the series itself. And it wasn't even "everybody". It was just a handful of other people. On top of that, Goku even addresses this. He speaks about him regretting that he needed the others for his transformation. It's not like it was just "Everyone give Goku your ki so he can spirit fist the enemy for the win!"

And there's no rule saying people can't come out who are stronger than Vegetto. Hell, even if the villain wasn't stronger, you guys would just be saying "Well, why didn't they just bring out Vegetto?!" or some shit like that.

It's a flaw because it is a total mischaracterization of character, Vegeta was always depicted as a arrogant, proud and serious person, the way he fear Beerus at the point of being ridiculous without even knowing his powers (he says that in the movie) it's a plot hole.

Well, If you noticed I'm not taking Genkidama into account, just the way Goku defeated some villains in Movies and GT... He took the energy of his friends just like he did in BoG with the only difference that he didn't defeat Beerus.

FUNimation has sure stepped up their game for DBZ.

I'm thinking it's more of a "Toei" thing than a "FUNimation" thing, since the movie's coming out sooner in other parts of the world as well. That's also why this announcement was semi-predictable from the get-go.

The REAL surprise is that they're doing a subbed screening. Man, I'm so jealous of those who get to go. Those people better be damn grateful for the opportunity and not waste their time criticizing everyone's voices.

"Resurrection 'F'" is an awesome translation. Perfectly accurate and, like Herms said, snappy. I might switch over to using that from now on.
