BoG was in theatres for 7 weeks right? Should we assume the same time for "F"?
No suprise it beat BoG, "F" had everything going for it. Though I agree with the others TOEI's goal might have been a tad bit ambitious. But we'll see what happens. I guess it does not matter that much since we have Super now.

From what I can see Battle of Gods had a wide release for 6 weekends then after that it lost 90% of it's screens but was still in theatres for maybe a couple more weeks.

RoF could have a longer wide release or the same. So far it's only had 3 weekends and the 4th starts tommorow.

I think based on the average ticket prices it'd need to sell another 674,000 tickets or so to reach ¥4 billion. That'd be a bit over 3 million tickets total.

With the end of the Golden Week, FNF follow a descent into hell. I hope he'll reach ¥ 100 Million for this week-end, like this he will certainly exceed ¥ 3,5 Billion at the end.

But don't expect much more, to be honest even ¥ 3,8 Billion seems a bit too much. I'm sad to see Toei's goal so overrated.

Yeah it's going to drop a lot from here on out, the ticket sales today are probably going to be about a third or a bit above what they were last Saturday. It could do with making at least ¥100 million for the weekend though.

It making another ¥850 million does seem like a stretch. It's definitely been a front loaded movie though the last one was too.

Battle of Gods was at ¥2.47 billion after it's 4th weekend and then went and made 21% more to end with ¥2.99 billion and that includes it's Golden Week boost.

Resurrection of F I would guess would finish around ¥3.7-3.8 billion like that other guy said. That may be disappointing for it to not reach what they wanted it to but it's still a good amount more than the last one and would be more in dollars too and if it only cost $5 million then they've easily made money back off it.

Then there's all the other countries too so a couple hundred million yen (a couple million dollars) probably won't be anything worth crying over anyway in the end.

Box Mojo have sort of updated their figure for the movie, they have it at $21.66 million as of last weekend.

That obviously doesn't include the Monday-Wednesday Golden Week gross but I don't think it includes the Taiwan gross either.

This weekend it is looking to do over ¥100 million.

Dropped something wicked in Thailand though, it'd be disappointing if it wasn't such a smallish market.

Still the gross in Thailand was never tracked for Battle of Gods so this is all an advantage for it regardless.

If the Japanese estimate was accurate then altogether it'd be around $29 million.

I'm really happy to see DBZ doing so well, sure the numbers aren't higher but oh well, combining Japans gross with its international fanbase, RoF is in Great shape, besides Toei only spent 5 million to make this film and has already made 5 times that amount, its really a " win win " situation!!!!
