I've said this before, but I think it's relevant to say it again now. I'm seeing the Transformers used as a parallel from the eyes of an unitiated fan. For whatever it may be worth to either of you, I was a thoroughly initiated fan who spent time before the release hoping for the best but basically bitching about changes not that dissimilar to what we have here. And it was directed by Michael Bay (if it wasn't called Bad Boys, I really didn't care as far as his works go).
And I currently own the Transformers and am eagerly awaiting the sequal. Take that for what you will, but that's my primary reason for reserving judgement. I walked the premature negativity pass and had to eat my own words with a side of fries. Doing so again now would be personal hypocrisy. Take that for what you will.

To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.

You mean this?
I find this kind of hard to believe... or better yet, I don't wanna believe it :p
Post from your forum... A new manga series? New animated tv-series?Nothing Earth-shattering, but the new Fox 2009 prospectus "reveals":
The film is in final stages, 90 minutes long, likely PG-13, first in an on-going series. Major video game adaptation out next year, leading comic book company publishing new manga series based on movie. New animated television series in development.
We'll get our proof next week at this big licensing show in London. We should see some footage too, if we're lucky!

No one posts info here because people expect you to, you know, actually post info when you talk about posting info?JAPPO wrote:This is why no one posts info here.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
Sometimes, I tweet things
We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Me neither. I hope this is false.Bura wrote:You mean this?

Which is weird for someone to all of a sudden start acting like that. Maybe because he's telling the truth?
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.
If we're all here for a reason then I'm just visiting.
If it's held in your heart then you can't let go.

For the record I wasn't the one who posted that. Some people I'm sure are confusing what you put as a post by ME, and not someone else.Bura wrote:You mean this?

If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.
Yeah, me too. I mean, it's being made a bit more realistic, but like you mentioned based on Goku's movie gi, it's still shaping up to be very fantasy-oriented and fun.Kendamu wrote:There's a crowd looking for a "dark and gritty" Dragonball? I feel that such would be an even bigger change than what's going on now and would disappoint me even further!
Dragon Ball ended in 1997.
I'd say so.SonEric84 wrote:JulieYBM wrote:New animated series/comic/video game(s)?
Oh Jesus give me strength.
haha Seriously, a live-action movie is one thing, but an animated series based on a movie that was based on an animated series? That's just a headache waiting to happen. (Just saying it hurts. )
My main beef is that the original will be lost.
Ah well, at least it'll be good eye candy.
