Should Xenoverse 3 feature an ORIGINAL or SERIES story?

With all the DLC coming for Xenoverse 2, it seems like it's at a point where they're about to have all the big characters in the series - including possibly Ultra Instinct Goku and Jiren. If the new Xenoverse 2 DLC story is not just about Fu, but also about the ToP - Then, what's the point of Xenoverse 3 adapting the arc again? Even some of the movie characters seem to all be getting included in Xenoverse 2, slowly but surely.

So, should Xenoverse 2 be the game that covers everything from Saiyan Arc to ToP Arc while Xenoverse 3 tells a completely original story? Obviously, for years now during the infamous DB Drought Arc we all faced - We had no choice but to go from Radtiz to Buu in every game with what-ifs, movies, and special characters (Hatchiyack and Tarble) to hold us: So, perhaps - Having the recent Super arcs readapted again for Xenoverse 3 won't be too bad.

It just feels like Xenoverse 2 is adapting everything in Super now so it may be pointless to bring some of those story elements to Xenoverse 3 unless the game finds a way to tell a new story within those Super arcs. Also, there's certain characters like Toppo, Dyspo, Ribrianne, and many others who may not make it in XV2, but can be in XV3. Thoughts?

No game has tackled a full DBGT and DBS story mode yet, or am I wrong?

Well, considering Super isn't technically over yet, only 3 games really have any Super content (Xenoverse, X2, and FighterZ).

I wish classic fans had the option to play through normal story without the Future Warrior involved. Just a normal DBZ+GT+Super story mode in Xenoverse's style.

These Supervillain forms are boring and shouldn't ruin flow of the story too: "Oh, I'm fighting Black now but let's have 5 unrelated movie villains interrupt me for the sake of prolonging it."

It'd be cool if you had that option cuz why not, but to complain about the og because you prefer a boring rehash just seems weird.... Like play literally any other DB game ever made ever. Some of us waited years for new stories and lore.

Black canonically made a rip in time, the game deals with villains being thrown in like spanners in the works out of time. Dickish villains come flooding out actually makes sense in canon. Plus you get that fun turles and black dialogue!

It also leads up to a fridge brilliance moment where good people from other timelines lend their genki and make the spirit bomb actually make more sense and be more plausible than in canon!

Literally no DB game has done the Buu Saga properly.

Freeza and Cell are there thanks to Budokai 1 and Burst Limit, but Buu? Nope. Hundreds of games out there and there's not a single where the story is given justice.

With today's era technology progress we could get a beautifully done Z story from start to finish, then go to Super and add What-Ifs.

Feels like every new game that will release from now on will only be about original stories though, no matter the developer.

After decades getting the same nonsense and boring games with little to no content at all, this is the greatest thing that ever happened to Dragon Ball games. If different developers begin to bring new content, then it's even better, even with Xenoverse, we need a little diversity once in a while. They'll delve where Xenoverse wouldn't.
