I hope Cell gets resurrected. I liked him the best out of all the villains.

Well online got discontinued and xenoverse games kid a replaced it.

No. Xenoverse isn't here to replace anything. And you still haven't provided a source confirming it was "discontinued".

It was no longer available because it's servers was shut down.

Huh... That is an answer I didn't see it coming.
Well, if you want to ignore Dragon Ball Online because of that then that's your thing. But that doesn't actually mean it got "discontinued". All the story, information and such is still real and can be taken into consideration.

-Freeza is connected to the Saiyan backstory which effects both Goku and Vegeta
-Freeza was the strongest villain in the main series who wasn't a creation (Android created by Gero or Boo created by Bibid)
-Freeza was the catalyst for the most iconic transformation in the series.
-Freeza was the villain in the most popular era of the manga
Cell doesn't have a lot of aspects to him beyond what worked in his initial arc. Gero is almost a better antagonist from that arc to bring back because he was at least has retconned ties to the Red Ribbon Army and was the creator of the Androids. You can kinda do something with that rivalry with Goku and he has the potential to make more villains and having a science fiction story where he faces the heroes with less conventional means. Cell already did his perfect thing. What are you going to really do with him besides that?
