I intended to do a lot of things with this episode. It was originally supposed to come out yesterday. It was originally supposed to be in stereo. I wasn't originally supposed to be this tired. *yawn* Ah, well. Things happen...! It doesn't really affect the quality of the show in any way, though

I noticed the Mayl too.

The song...was funny. But parts of it were ear piercing. Ouch.

Edit: Oh yeah, and episode 6 of Kai got at least up to episode 18 of Z. Pretty impressive, huh? At this rate it really will be roughly 100+ episodes.

The Chipmuncks killed my ears...!! Let's see what'll you bring up for the next week... hopfully something calmer...!!

*sigh* If I'm not mistaken, the MROA now is three months behind the schedule ... ever thought of dedicating a whole month solely for it to catch-up? "The Month of Awsomness"?!

Next episode is a surprise? what could it be... a special guest? or... Yamcha's episode? or something else...?!

And out of curiosity, how far are you now from Jeff's place?

It feels like it's been forever since the last episode.

That song was pretty awful, in my opinion. But then again, I don't see the appeal of Chipmunk-ifying songs.

Enjoyed the rest of the episode, though. I pretty much agree with you guys' comments on Kai, and part of the reason I keep watching it (other than because of my general love of the franchise) is because I think it's neat to see what changes are going to be made. This is especially true of the Freeza arc - I wonder if Guldo will still be decapitated in this version? Will Toei re-animate the attack on that one village so that Freeza's the one who kills Cargo? How much will Rikuum's attack on Gohan be censored? Waiting to find out the answers to these questions is half the fun, I think.

I also really liked the information about the names of the "illusionary Saiya-Jin." Really informative stuff there that reminded me of why I keep listening to you guys week after week.

RE: "Music" = Regardless of how you feel about the Chipmunk-style song, I definitely appreciate someone making content for us with that kind of production value. That's crazy. The songs in the coming weeks are certainly of a different variety, and I'm really excited to share them.

RE: "Mayl" = Mike shouldn't update with a podcast in the evening after a full work day.

RE: "Illusion Saiyans" = I'll admit that it was actually already covered pretty well in an old forum thread, but I was very happy that I actually knew what I was talking about *without* needing to do much additional research! ^_~ I'm actually going to turn this into a "Tidbit" on the site when I get a chance. If anyone wants to get me high-quality screen caps of the characters from a ROM, or something, that'll speed things up for me. Or at least give me a save-state...

RE: "Kai" = I almost find myself watching this the same way I watched FUNimation's "Season 3" back in 1999... just to see the trainwreck... :/

Interesting that the Saibaimen pallet-swap is named Kaiware ("white radish sprout"). In the new DragonBall Kai: Saiya-jin Shuurai, there's a Saibaiman pallete-swap named Kaiware Man.

There were a couple of things wrong with the song. Mainly that it shouldn't have been all 3 Chipmunks singing the entire time... other than that, it was awesome.

Any way to download it without ripping it out of the show?

Wow. It's fucking awesome that the donated item named for me is the "F" CD. I love that song! It's so fun to (try to) sing along to it, especially the "FREEZA FREEZA FREEZA FREEZA!" part. It's not usually my type of music, but after hearing "What's up, People?!" as the second Death Note opening, I came to love Maximum the Hormone

So thanks for immortalizing me in a way that totally rocks!

I knew that you would say something like this, but you asked for a picture, and I knew a place to get from, and I cited my source of it.

If it's not OK, then I'm sorry and I won't do it again... But to tell you what... Dragon Ball Wikia stole some images from your site for their own (Go to Burdock's, Freeza's and Buu's pages)

You know I checked the manga and the Ox King didn't have a cigarette, is this just my manga being edited or was it originally not there? Because then, in Kai, it's not censoring, it's just following the manga

I also agree with the "natural feel" of the fillers not being there
