I did too. I thought, "Man, a Dragon Ball racing game? Well, at least their breaking the mold again I suppose..."
But yeah, a new Sparking-like game with Burst Limit-like graphics for the PS3 and 360. It looks pretty nice. Man, just when I decided not to buy a PS3 too....

I really don't want to be one of those guys who says "we can't know that yet." But... Let's just wait and see. We all know the series has a lot of potential. And they've had, at most, 3 years to work on it. I'll be disappointed if it is the same ol' same.
Well, of course I'll wait to see if I really don't like it, but as of right now those shots don't excite me at all. If something doesn't excite me, I'll pretty much have no interest in it so... yea, just saying.

I'm still holding out for DragonBall: Tennis.
Anyway, is it just me, or are they running out of game names? "Burst Limit" was an...interesting choice, and now "Raging Blast". It's like they're just drawing words out of a scrabble bag or something.

Man I've been closely investigating these screens and I've come up with a few revelations. I'll post a video about them later.

This game looks like a combination of BL and Sparking. A meeting of the minds, maybe?

Explain how it looks anything like Burst Limit, the only thing I'm seeing in the screen shots is
Sparking! Meteor

Guys, I'm developing a master list of everything we, the fans, want in Raging Blast.
Please leave a comment with everything you want to occur in Raging Blast! (characters, stages, modes, things to fix, things to remove), either here or on this video:

Thanks.

Finally a sequel to tenkaichi budokai.
If challenge had a taste, you'd be quite delicious.

I hope this turns out better than Burst Limit. Which was probably one of the worst DBZ games ever. As long as they make the levels larger (including how high you can fly and how low under water you can go) and make the levels even more destructible then it should be pretty good.
I completely respect your opinion, and I respect you. I enjoyed discussing this with you, even if I don't completely agree.
If we're all here for a reason then I'm just visiting.
If it's held in your heart then you can't let go.

I'm in the same boat as you. I was hoping for a next gen Budokai (Burst Limit 2) with Infinite World's gameplay. IW's biggest faults were that the way story mode was set up sucked, and since it was on PS2 there was no online. Burst Limit 2 would theoretically fix these two things, but instead we get more Sparking.
Taku is a sad panda.

Fucking
awesome. I'm happy beyond words that this finally got clarified.
I was worried about budgeting for another DragonBall game, but a Sparking installment I can easily ignore

What's the difference between Bust Limit and sparking?

Burst Limit is a more traditional 2.5D (2D field of view that allows for side-stepping in a 3D environment) game with a simplified fighting engine.
Sparking! is an over-the-shoulder, completely 3D more-open-arena attack-fest that resembles little about "traditional" fighting games.

One has Limited characters the other has limited depth.

I only ever played the Sparking games, but it looks like a combination of both games would be pretty cool

Except.... it's not. You can clearly see that the game looks EXACTLY like the Sparking! series and nothing like the Budokai/Burst Limit series. Why is this so hard to understand?
