Could they be redrawing scenes for which the original footage was corrupted or destroyed? Or did they start Kai with the DragonBox masters?

I'm looking forward to Vegeta vs Zarbon. Hopefully that'll have some nice redrawn scenes.

I doubt it. Dragonball is such a marketable product of theirs, I'm sure they've been taking all the necassary steps to keep it looking as good as it can.

And since I haven't really been getting to whatch Kai live lately, I was just wondering if TvAnts and KeyHoleTV are still pretty much the only/best options for whatching DBK? Does that HQ stream Hujio posted a while back still work?? Thanks.

As far as I can tell, TVants and Keyhole TV don't work at all anymore. I was able to use them when Kai first started but now the channels never load. Is this the same for everyone else or just me?

One thing linked in the IRC was this channel on Justin.TV. It's squished to 4:3, but it comes through just fine.

Both work fine here. TVants is you best bet for watching the series by far.

Sort of. The scene itself is in the manga (final panel of chapter 258), but the dumbbells were added to the anime. Originally he's just punching air.

Yeah, you can see that he's just punching the air in one of the page scans for chapter 258.
