Folks, if the episode hasn't even aired yet, there's really no need to be posting things like "It starts in X minutes!" Please save the (relevant) conversation(s) for when there's actually something to discuss. Thanks!

More strangeness from Wakamoto's Cell. The dialogue scenes aren't too odd, but the noises he is making (instead of the 'bwehs' I expect) are throwing me off.

Anyhow, despite keeping a nice chunk of filler (the Nikki Town stuff and the airport battle) this was a pleasent episode. The tighter, more conservative use of music helps a lot.

Wakamoto is being way too subdued, and I miss the "bweh".

I like the airport filler. In fact, aside from Mr. Satan's students later on, and the fallout shelter episode, I like all the filler in this arc.

The music is still kind of disappointing, though.

The fallout shelter being "A Girl Named Lime"? I couldn't STAND that episode. I know Jimmy Firecracker didn't have a name in the manga besides 'Cell Games announcer' in Japan but did he get a name in the Anime?

Yeah, the one with Lime. I hate that one, too. Though I don't mind the one where Goku encounters Tao Pai Pai, who gives him the puzzle rings challenge.

That episode is a nice throw back to DB where Goku believes just anything people tell him. I would have loved to see Jimmy Firecracker come back as like the 'main' announcer for the news to the planet, sort of like the Tournament annoucer was the same throughout DB and Z.

They played "The Braveheart Challenges the Strong" when Krillin and Trunks were blowing up Dr Gero's lab, it didn't fit at all...

The Kuririn/Cell airport scene was kind of badass, I can see why they kept it.

I approve of keeping in worthy filler like that.

Yeah, I like the idea of Kuririn going up against a major villain and not dying. :D

Well, this episode managed to steal tiny tears of happiness when Goku got up again. Happiness mixed with comedy (Muten Roshi landing on his face) has always been my weakness. Guess that also shows how much I care about this damn show. :P

Was the Goku and Chi-Chi filler still there?

Lab scene, lab scene....LAB SCENE.
And the ever so righteous cause scene....brilliant.

Krillin's fight with Cell was hecka cool. Although I wouldn't have mind him spamming destructo disks now and then.

Oh yeah, and the great Goku woke up. With special Dragon Soul score to match.

I really like how "the 3" all grasped the idea of going beyond ssj and you can kind of imagine them having a race towards who can ascend first.

And it worked really well too.

Wakamoto is having a lot of fun rolling his R's as imperfect Cell! 8) I liked how they handled the airport filler, it flowed nicely with Cell's rampages along with the cat and mouse chasing with Piccolo and Ten in pursuit. Here it was fast and exciting and never overstayed it's welcome.
