Your favourite DB video game(s)?
Mine would probably have to be Attack of the Saiyans for not only being an all around fun rpg experiance, but for breathing new life into the Dragon Ball video game scene. As far as the fighting games go, I'd have to say Sparking Meteor. The simple controls made it easy for your friends to play without the battles being to one-sided, the what-if scenarios were fun, and the only character missing was the farmer with a shotgun.

I'm going with Tenkaichi 3 for now, since I haven't played Raging Blast 2 and that looks spectacular.

Attack of the Saiyans.
RPGs are my favourite genre, and this was a great RPG, something nice and new to the DB series of games. The background graphics were beautiful also. I really hope they make a sequel to it.

Super Dragon Ball Z.
Love the visual style, the tight combat, and the music.
The character editor makes for even more replay value.

I... am not really sure. But I'll probably have to go with Legacy of Goku II. I've replayed it more than 10 times, literally and I'm sure if I pick it up again someday, I still won't be bored while playing it. Also, there is the nostalgia factor here as well - I have such great high-school memories with this game and my GBA, it's not funny.

Hmm... gonna have to go with Hyper Dimension and Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Hyper Dimension because I love the SNES, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing as Gotenks, and I thought it was a great fighting game for its time. BT3 because I can go all day playing as GT Goku and whooping everyone.

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

I gonna go with Super Dragon Ball Z for 200.
I love the art style, character customization, and especially the gameplay. My friends also agree with me on this. Since when ever I'm in the DB mood they'd rather play this. It's very easy to pick up and play, they say it's not as complicated as the other DB games.

Legendary Super Warriors for Game Boy Color is easily my most worn out Gameboy cartridge, along with Pokeymanz Yellow.
I just love the sprite style for that game, and there's a lot of good memories.
Tenkaichi 3; I still play it about once a week. I'm a sucker for huge character rosters, and I like fighting games - but I like BT3's genre of "Dragonball Simulator" even better. My only complaint about the game is having kid Chichi - I'd much rather see 23rd TB Chichi or kid Kuririn in that character slot.
Honourable mentions go to Attack of the Saiyans, Hyper Dimension, Budokai 1,2,3.

Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

Budokai 3, Tenkaichi 2, Legends, Tenkiachi 3, Burst Limit, Legacy of Goku 2, and Hyper Dimension. I never like LSW since I can never get past Nappa, I had that game since 2002 and I still can't beat it.

Re: Your favourite DB video game(s)?
Attack of the Saiyans is a great DBZ RPG. It feels like they made the show turn-based and turns gameplay that's normally slow into something fast-paced and fun to look at.
DBZ Legends has the same qualities, but as a fighter and the music is excellent. Use of colored manga panels adds to it. The Power Balance bar really sets it apart, too.
DBZ Supersonic Warriors is like a portable Legends, but with the special attacks done on the fly. I can say the same for the sequel. In the original, the What If stories are great.
Super DBZ is my favorite DBZ fighter because of the manga styling and the Street Fighter type action.

Feel free to call me a noob if this is supposed to be common knowledge or something, but is there some type of additional content to differentiate between the greatest hits and standard releases of Budokai 3?Conan the SSJ wrote:My top 5:

It added three new costumes, and the opinion to switch to the Japanese track.Gogeta 00 wrote:Feel free to call me a noob if this is supposed to be common knowledge or something, but is there some type of additional content to differentiate between the greatest hits and standard releases of Budokai 3?Conan the SSJ wrote:My top 5:

Mine would be Budokai 1 and Legacy of Goku, for nostalgic reasons.

Re: Your favourite DB video game(s)?
I'm going to go with Budokai 1.
I'm sure that is the one I have played the MOST, and had the best cutscenes. It STILL irks me that I couldn't beat [this is what it was called] Hercule's Story mode on Hard.
And the capsule system was so fun. They were actual capsules that you bought, but just words on the screen you added to the characters. As well as the nostalga of almost a decade of DBZ games [staring with PS2] I remember how little I knew back then....I didn't know the difference between Big Bang Crash and Big Bang Attack. I would always have to go into the shop to see the difference.

Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.
Re: Your favourite DB video game(s)?
I like the Budokai games for PS2
I also love the GBA games, especially the "Legacy of Goku" series.
AVGN should do reviews on these (or at least on any ones that aren't so good)
