Episode #0331! VegettoEX and Kirbopher take a breather and answer a slew of listener questions. There is always (still!) something fun to discuss about "Battle of Gods" but the rest of the questions head off into tons of different directions, as well, most important of which is determining Kame-Sen'nin's beer of choice. Enjoy the brief little breather with us!

Wow, that was quick! It's up a lot earlier today.
Can't wait to listen to it.
Reviews are really starting to pile up now, though.

Great podcast! This is probably my favorite one in while; just a chill Dragon Ball focused chat with two cool dudes.
Looking forward for Kirbopher coming on again in the future to talk about Dragon Ball's influence on flash animation!

Re: First pkmn movie was almost dubbed by celebrities/Leonardo diCaprio almost voiced Ash.
OMG that seems hilarious to me in retrospect , but if it had gone that way I feel like the me back then would've metaphorically flipped tables whatever year that came out (99? I feel like it as 99 because they retitled the 2nd movie "Pokemon the Movie 2000" or something like that).
Re: Goku's reaction to ssjg
I love that he doesn't like his new power-up and the reasons why he doesn't like it. It's so Goku to want to fight with his own power instead of accessing some outside power-source and fighting with that. Also those looks he gives his arms after the transformation finishes crack me up. XD
Re: Toriyama Exhibit
I'm so hoping some of that unseen stuff (including Toriyama's ssjg art) appear in the chogashu.

I'm curious about what that unnamed source is for the Pokemon the First Movie thing. A quick Google search came up with this, but that cast list was obviously made up by some troll so I don't know. I wouldn't put it past Warner Bros to dub the movie with celebrities but I need more information before I can believe it that they were seriously considering going that route.
Also, RE: The Toriyama exhibit. I went to the one in Tokyo and they did indeed have signs that said that pictures weren't allowed, but there was only like one guard on duty and he kept pacing in and out of the room so there were tons of opportunities to take pictures. Between my friends and I we probably ended up taking close to 100 pictures, though I don't think any of us want to risk posting them online.
Did Julian pick up the pamphlet for the exhibit at the gift shop? It pretty much has the entire exhibit in a glossy magazine-type format; it reprints the timeline, the character wall, and a lot of the artwork that was on display.
Finally, the Super Saiyan fries were from Mini Stop, a chain of convenience stores in Japan, not KFC.

Gah, can't believe I screwed up the fries. I think I looked at so many of those promotional merchandise posts in such a short time that they all got screwed up in my head.

I feel absurdly silly for writing in a question through the contact form only to find out you were responding to twitter-only.

No, you just sent it in after we were already done recording. I took plenty of questions from the contact form back-pile, too.

My mind instantly went to the "Ocarina Of Time" gravedigger. And then you guys just had to go and acknowledge it.

Wait...Movie 3 was season 2 of FUNImation's original dub?! I know Movie 3 was cut up and broadcasted on T.V but I didn't know it was called a "season"! I though the confusion of it being apart of the series was on the viewers part but I guess it pretty much all FUNIs part.

Re: Episode #0331 (21 April 2013)
No, no. The three-part-broken-up Movie 3 was aired DURING season two. It did not comprise season two in its entirety. That would have been a very short season .

Re: Episode #0331 (21 April 2013)
Just got done listening to this last night, and just in case he eventually joins up on the forum, wanted to throw out some...'I'm in the same boat as you' or whatever, towards that last e-mailer, Matt. I too am stuck in the booneys of Arkansas, so...yeah...kinda sucks being a fan of anything nerdy when you're in this state. It really, really does. ^_^;
