Why not keep things light hearted. Looking back on Super, what were some of your favorite comedic moments or gags? Toriyama loves his gags and is still to this day very particular about gags. I will go first


1. Playing baseball

The competitive fierce nature of sayians where even a baseball game turns into an intense epic battle haha. Goku and Vegeta going SSblue lmao. Vegeta was actually going to use final flash to try and strike Goku out lmao. The look on Yamcha's face said it all and was hilarious.

LOL when Vegeta elbows and knees Yamcha to tag him out and sends Yamcha flying LMAO. It's hilarious how Yamcha is just getting destroyed throuth out the game

Only Dragon Ball could take baseball and turn it into some epic intense near death battle with SS transformations and everything hahahahahaha


2. Changing Beerus' sheets

Beerus kicks Vegeta as Vegeta is in mid-sentence and sends him flying into the orb lol. Goku using IT to teleport it to Whis and it blowing up in Whis' face had me legit laughing.


3. Goku teleports to Bulma's room

There are many moments in Super that make me laugh. But the episodes that stick out the most are these:

- Everything about Episode 15. But particularly Mr Satan punching Goku.
- Everything about Episode 16
- Everything about the Baseball episode
- The Dr Slump crossover episode
- Everything about Episode 94

I'd say the appearance of Super Satan God defeating Beebus the God of Destruction is a pretty good highlight for me.

Also, that one time when Beerus smashed his thread through the table when he bowed before Zeno.

Oh, and DEFINITELY when the last 3 fighters for Universe 2 gained the powers of the Kamikaze Fireballs. That's probably the most unexpected and hilarious moment I've experienced yet. It works so well because it comes out of nowhere, no foreshadowing, NOTHING.

This is by far my favorite, probably the first time Super's ever made me laugh out loud, usually I just smile or chuckle at the comedic moments.

-Mr Satan punch Goku

-Goku teleport to Bulma

-Everything about the Baseball and the Dr Slump episodes

-#17 interrupt The Kamikaze Fireball transformation

-Zeno tell Beerus and Quitela that it was safe

-U2 guys transformed into magical girls.

I guess the Yamcha episode had some funny moments that I really enjoyed... but I'm not sure how I feel about the meme reference.

Pretty much everything mentioned in this thread and then some.
As people have pointed out, the Satan Punch scene, but really, anything involving Goku and his tractor has made me burst out laughing (I still say they utterly ruined it in the dub though).

For ones that haven't been mentioned though...
Goten calling Gohan's Saiyaman costume lame.
Goku screaming "HE DID WHAT!?" and breaking through the wall in slow motion after learning Vegeta was training with Whis and the next shot having him repairing the wall.
Goku destroying his house when he lost control of his Ki. Chichi just glaring at him, and his whole "...I'm back home!" bit still cracks me up. Actually, you can put most of that episode in there, especially [spoiler]
Piccolo's face. He's just so thoroughly unimpressed by Goku there.[/spoiler]
Goku punching Kuririn, and then trying to catch (and missing) him.
Trunks spending time with Gohan. His face displaying the disbelief that his mentor was such a dork says it all.
Trunks doing all those ridiculous callback poses when trying to use the Mafuba. I don't care what anyone says, that shit was hilarious.
Vegeta's reactions. Just... so many of them (as well as Vegetto's one expression. You know the one).
Goku's misadventures when he's trying to sense Hit. Particularly when he's trying to sense him in that lingere shop, and when he senses the three cockroaches behind the fridge.

Honestly, while I've enjoyed the anime in general, the comedy and slice-of-life bits have been pretty much the best parts. There's so many hysterical moments that I don't think I can recount them all.

Goku ''forgot my tractor'' in the dub and Beerus breaking the table when he sees Zeno.

Hercule punching goku is a classic,my favorite comedic moment in super as well Goku vs the narrator, I feel the latter needs more attention.Here are other scenes that I find funny

-Beerus smashing his head to a table.

-Beerus calling Kuririn tulillin or something like that.

-The hand slipping joke.

-Everything about the U9 kaioshin Rou.

-Vegeta clapping at Frieza.

-Goku black clapping.

-The baseball episode.

The two Zenos imitating Goku's kamehameha made me laugh out loud, it was pretty funny, especially because of the way the first Zeno replicated Goku's voice tone

The banter between Goku Black and Future Zamasu in episode 63 was my favourite, specifically when Goku Black remarks that no one is listening Zamasu's long and complex monologue about the natural superiority of Gods; to which the vainglorious Zamasu replies that he doesn't care whether Goku and co. are listening or not, he just loves to hear the sound of his soothing divine voice. Lastly, Black notes that his kindred spirit's behaviour is 'truly God-like'. That was so funny, hahaha. Well, at least there is a villain who realizes that the good guys don't care about his tedious monologues. He is just that egoistical.

Like, when I realize how many times the words 'Ningen' and 'Zamas' where repeated in 20 episodes, I laugh out loud.

Honestly, the two Zenos mimicking the fighters like Jiren, Goku, etc. in this tournament is pretty hilarious.

I like most of the Slice of Life episodes. Trunks and Goten going on an adventure to get Videl that "special" water.

I enjoyed those quite a bit.

I like the slice of life episodes a lot, perhaps even more than the fights and drama in this series, but my favorite funny scene is probably #17 blasting the Fireballs during their transformation. It was so sudden and seeing all other competitors (especially Toppo) come in and tell him to wait for their transformation was gold. I like them kind of poking fun at the whole "why don't they attack them while they're transforming?" question people ask.
