So long as you only play 1.23 (The open beta is terrible), and download the wealth of user content to stop the game looking like total ass.

I used to play on an Australian server up until 6 months ago or so.

I always loved the end of GT, the Goku Jr. special and episode 64's 8 minute epilogue, so I naturally found these games to be pretty darn fun. Not just because you can play through the adventures of Goku Jr. as in the special, but because it had some original twists (such as meeting Piccolo's spirit or getting Vegeta Jr. to join on the journey) and Vegeta Jr.'s game prior to the final Budokai is just too cool for words IMO. I mainly look at these games as something equivalent to SNES or GameBoy Color games, which helps things since I'm such an old school fan of many SNES games (can never get tired of the Donkey Kongs or Mario All Stars) and the GBC's Super Legendary Warriors. Hopefully some of you guys like them.

I wonder what happened to that guy...

But I could never get the mod to run, so this is my first time seeing what it actually looks like in game.

There is also bid for power http://bidforpower.planetquake.gamespy.com/ (though they had to remove dbz charracters and make unique ones due to copy-right or something)

A flash fighting game http://www.owensworld.com/flashgames/play-552.htm

Newgrounds.com has a few too

Heh, glad you still like it.
If only I had finished it with actual AI though. Or at least some sort of two-player mode. :(

The best one I've played so far was Bid For Power. It's a FPS using the same engine as Quake III, or something similar, if anyone isn't familiar with it. Fun stuff!

The other day I found a really nice DB mugen character.

Not your typical butoden or ub22 ripped character either, he looks like he's been rotoscoped (from budokai series) and redrawn.

This guy doesnt just look nice, he's animated VERY fluidly & plays great for a beta.

Also if you dont have a newer windows based mugen to play him, here's one:
