I almost like his new style a bit more than his old, especially when it comes to DB characters. I dunno what it is about them...

It truly is great to see a picture like that. I hope we eventually get to see more character illustrations in his newer style, like Piccolo and such!

They showed how colours became better via HD remastering at TAF.

There doesn't appear to be any lose of detail in the remastered side, but if they are redrawing each frame digitally I guess there wouldn't be.

The right side actually does look like it was re-drawn, as opposed to just having some DVNR applied.

Every artist's style changes as they keep drawing- its a natural process and you'd have to really intentionally work to never change.

I like it well enough. I don't like it as much as the late DB-Early Z stuff, but it's leagues improved from the horrible heavy-shine square look of GT art/Dragonball anniversary movie.

All these pictures and stuff like that make me with that we'd get another TV spot or something of an extended trailer on the official Kai website or something.

Yeah, I posted some details about the "Tokyo International Anime Fair" on Kanzentai earlier this afternoon. Here's a shot from the Dragon Box for comparison purposes.

Also, here's some quotes from the seiyuu:
- "This was a performance that swallowed up my life; I remember being stressed when we first started recording." - Tanaka Mayumi
- "I'm now a fan of this series myself." - Furukawa Toshio
- Though it's been 13 years since they last recorded, "It doesn't feel like it's been that long." - Nozawa Masako
- "The tempo is very fast, so Goku is already dead by episode 2." - Tanaka Mayumi

Ah, I wouldn't be too frantic for TV Spots and such.

I mean, the actually show is airing in less than two weeks. Patience, people! :P

I would imagine so. Voicing Kuririn, Yajirobe, maybe Baba and having to also do Luffy in One Piece would definitely eat up a lot of her time.

Whoa, never thought of that! That's insane!

It's gonna get a lot tougher around Namek saga.

Maybe Tanaka Mayumi wasn't thinking about the Bardock Special and Dragonball footage that's being thrown onto the beginning. Going by when Raditz shows up, maybe only two episodes worth of footage takes place by the time Goku dies, hence the mistake.
