Re: Were the Saiyans really that strong?
Yeah, I think we generally have a pretty unanimous consensus here, not much I can add. By the way, the quote I put in the first post is just me being tongue-in-cheek. In the broader Universal context, even 1000 BP is a huge deal (Freeza's still looking for people at least as strong as that by the ti...

Re: Why Gohan never "took the reigns" of the story
This is why I maintain the view that the series should've ended at the Cell saga.
Gohan defeating Cell is symbolic to surpassing the entire last generation.
Not to mention, Toriyama didn't have an editor for the Buu saga.

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
At the very least Dyspo was said to be faster than light and Golden Frieza was faster than him. So Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Vegeta should be. That was a mistranslation, as "high" and "light" share one of their pronunciations in Japanese. Goku has learned how to dodge lightning...

I really like this game.
But I've basically completed everything there is to do.
I assume there'll be no more updates?

Re: Transformations that can be considered "empowered" base forms.
You're assuming Ultimate is stronger than Super Saiyan 3, but we don't have a way to confirm that. Yes, Ultimate Gohan was stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Goku in Majin Buu saga, but one's power is never set in stone. Super Saiyan 3 Goku from Movie 14 is stronger than Ultimate Gohan, for example. What...

Re: Transformations that can be considered "empowered" base forms.
Eh, I don't know how that would work. From a general point of view, that would imply Ultimate works similar to Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, it's Ultimate with the power of Super Saiyan. First, it hasn't been established yet that Super Saiyan can have its power absorbed (like Super Saiyan God). Th...

Were the Saiyans really that strong?
The highest recorded powar levul is 18000, held by the 4th Fajita you had today. They can't ki sense, or suppress their powar levul. They're oppressed by a non-Saiyan, some midget space pod alien, and in his weakest form he's almost 30x stronger than Fajita. True warrior race my ass. But no really,...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Does anyone have an idea how strong was Buuccolo and Buutenks? Boo's absorption only seems to simply add someone's power to his own (except when it's the Kaioshin, that gets more complicated) , so Gotenks would roughly double his power while Piccolo would only be a relatively tiny increase, probabl...

Re: Transformations that can be considered "empowered" base forms.
It has always been a transformation for Toei, ever since Movie 13. The manga never had Gohan powering up to it, so it seems it considers Ultimate a permanent state. It's been a while, but I remember Gohan did power up to it buy transforming into an SS or doing a similar powerup. Was that Z only? I ...

Transformations that can be considered "empowered" base forms.
This is something I've been wondering about for a couple of years. 1) Ever since Goku and Gohan exited the RoSaT to fight the Cell games, their SS1 forms became their base forms in a pragmatic sense. For whatever reason, this was sort of tossed to the side during the Buu saga, and basically Hakai'd ...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Does anyone have an idea how strong was Buuccolo and Buutenks? Could Gohan have defeated Buuccolo? Does Buuccolo prove that Piccolo is still above the kids even in SS1? Which implies the kids is far behind their fathers and pre-Ultimate Gohan as Dabura implied their base forms was above Piccolo earl...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
I don't see it. They were pretty even most of the fight, and whenever Gogeta got the upperhand Broly came out unscathed. Here's what I got from them: SSJB Gogeta >>> LSSJ Broly >>> SSJ Broly = SSJ Gogeta >>> Base Gogeta >>> SSJB Goku/Vegeta > FP Ikari Broly >>> SSJG Goku > Initial Ikari Broly >>> S...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Rewatched the Broly movie the other day, and I'd like to do some rough relative scaling of Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. To avoid confusion and for the sake of simplicity, I'll just use the Broly by the end of the movie. Cause his growth is kind of  , like the entirety of Super itself. I'll also b...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
No, the opposite was implied, actually, with GT having base Goku beat stronger versions of Cell and Freeza at the same time without breaking a sweat, and there are filler episodes that I'm forgetting that surely imply base Goku > Freeza. There's still people not buying Beerus' statement. I, myself,...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Goku being 25M in the Buu arc is probably something everybody'd agree is lowballing, but it isn't impossible either. We know that in base they can't fight Namek Freeza (although 10xKK fucks him up), but there aren't many things they've done and couldn't do at 25 M. For the manga, SSB is like 10x SS...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
I hope you're not thinking about giving some videogame power any actual credibility inside the canon verse lmao That wouldn't work You could make the same statement against any media that isn't the original Japanese manga. It being a video game doesn't make it less valid than the Daizenshuu or the ...

Re: Official Unofficial Power Level Discussion Thread
Damn, been over half a decade since I last logged in. A lot has changed since then. So how's the community been? Any general consensus on the arbitrary numbers known as Battle Powers? Kakarot is a great game by the way. It also has BP (but mostly for show). Post-Buu saga base Gokuu is roughly 25 mil...

Re: Are the female characters virgins before their husbands?
Ugh, I was hoping the guys were less narrow-minded this time around. I guess not. If I'm gonna see people putting words in my mouth, then I don't think the people here are open-minded enough to have a rather healthy discussion here. Not to mention it's being derailed. I assume this is a primarily Am...

Re: Are the female characters virgins before their husbands?
Sex should be preserved until you are married. Sure... Its a great idea to only find out if you are compatible in bed after you get married... Or perhaps not because if you aren't then you are either sexually miserable for the rest of your life or you get a divorce. Compatibility in bed is made, no...
