Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
Assuming that was directed at me: no, it doesn't. The ability to propel yourself and how fast you can think (or how slow the world looks to you) don't always come together. But in this case it looks like he was dashing towards Goku when the sludge was dumped on him. Making it seem like he must have ...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
I think it's obvious... but teleport is not speed .... I don't think anyone is saying that teleporting IS speed, they are talking about Gas flying through space to get to Goku after he teleported away. By the way, i just glanced through the chapter and find it hilarious how Gas doesn't get out of t...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
I see. Thanks for the info, speedster! Well, barring the (fairly low) chance of more concrete distances being given at some later point, i'd say the safest estimate would be something in the middle. That it wasn't "from one end of the Milky Way to the other", but that it wasn't "from ...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
That doesn't change the fact that Gas can physically fly that distance in such a short time at all instead of teleporting, which would be impossible if he wasn't trillions of times FTL What is the distance between Cereal and where Goku left Gas, because trillions x FTL sounds like a number pulled o...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
As it has already been pointed out about the travelling speed of Super Gotenks, the correct answer is 1000Km/s or around Mach 3000 or 1/300th of the speed of light. That was the lowballing figure by the way. A higher ball figure could easily be from x3 to x6 that. So we are talking about 1/100th to...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
Speedster, Tao Pai Pai believed he would be back in 30 minutes and there's no reason to believe he was wrong nor that he expected killing Goku would take a significant fraction of that time. So estimating his pillar throwing as "4600 km in 29 minutes" or so is perfectly reasonable. I total...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
I understood that under certain circumstances Dyspo can surpass those thresholds. Sound presumably with his light bullet technique and light with his super maximum light speed mode (the purple aura). That would be hilarious beyond measure with the real life speeds of sound and light, because it wou...

Re: Are the Saiyans Massively faster than light by the time of Super?
considering that Dyspo was stated to be faster than light (and sound, though that's pretty redundant), and his 'light bullet' technique was said to amplify his speed thousands of times I'd say that characters on that level are at a minimum many thousands of times faster than light I haven't watched...

Re: Does anyone use energy nullification/cancellation?
I've been a HUUUUGE fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure since 2006, and felt like being nitpicky here... calling Giorno's Gold Experience Requiem "the ability to null, or cancel out, any attack thrown at him" (and implying with the title of the topic that it's "energy nullification/cancel...

Re: Why Did Vegeta Fail To Lift Magetta?
I think a lot of the inconsistencies among these feats come from fans inflating the characters' power and expecting them to be far stronger than Toriyama intended That's just it. It's not like the measurements are wrong, it's just... Toriyama never cared about that stuff. Never . So if Magetta only...

Uh... Mazinkaiser or Thor, which one did you call "a cartoon", h0kuten? I thought of another example to show you, on why statements can very well be a character overestimating someone else/himself, being arrogant, outright lies, etc. http://i827.photobucket.com/albums/zz193/mmg86/Omega1_zp...

Re: Toriyama confirms Golden Freeza's power level...?
So no one believes it might be what i think it is? Freezer trying to say "increase my power level to 1.300.000 TIMES" his normal level? Because that would make perfect sense to me. 1.300.000 times his first form would already be 68.900.000.000, which sounds high enough to be far above almo...

Re: Toriyama confirms Golden Freeza's power level...?
I took it as simply a line that came out badly, and that he may have meant "1300000 times".
Like, he is assuming that in four months, he will achieve a power level of 120 million X 1300000. So thats what i would estimate his Golden Form at.

Re: Why Didn't Goku and Vegeta Train With Higher Gravity?
Two possible answers. 1, the gravity chamber might not be able to increase gravity any further. 2, they would become pancakes if they attempted higher levels of gravity.

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
He goes on to say it has "every possible story" within it. That's probably the line you're thinking of, which is just another way of saying that it's infinite, because there's an infinite number of possible stories. Yes, thats probably the line i was remembering. So its my second theory.....

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Kamiccolo, i have seen that panel in english before. But I'm saying that there was a description of it that was not just "infinite pages", something more detailed. Could be in the page immediately after or something, since that is not the only panel where the book is shown or mentioned. Ah...

Re: Death Battle: Goku vs Superman 2
Regarding the "book with infinite pages" discussion, well, when i read Superman Beyond (the story in which it happens), it was the spanish version, so there MIGHT have been some translation problem/inaccuracy, but it did not have infinite pages. Instead, what was said was something like &q...

Re: First form Freeza and Fourth Form Freeza (RoF)
I say the first form should be on par with Super Buu. Then, his unseen forms would be: second form on par with Buutenks, third on par with Buuhan.
His fourth form i would place at 32x Super Vegetto, and Golden at 100% would be twice that (64x Super Vegetto)

Re: Goku (Super Saiyan God) vs Superman-REMATCH
Yep. Much, much weaker. John Byrne weakened superman a lot when we compare him to his "Crisis on Infinite Earths and before" self, but he was still pretty powerful. I didnt read all that many issues (in my country it was difficult to find comics) but loved every single one... and i can poi...

Well, this topic is a pretty good parody of some of the arguments in favor od DB that float around in the internet, hahaha. But eh, i wanna reply anyway. "I defy anybody to conceptualize of a being in fiction more powerful than this colossus." Thats all you want? Eh, i dont have to, Van Go...
