Re: Is Goku a superhero?
After watching Batman V Superman, I would definitely say so. Goku is far more proactive in superheroics in his iconic gi than any of those guys.

I read both your analyses, and they are excellent! Goku is without a doubt my favorite animated character, and I really appreciate the time you put into this.

Re: What if you weren't introduced to Dragon Ball until now?
I have no nostalgia for the series since I didn't start watching it until 2013. I hated every anime series that I've seen, so I went in thinking I would hate Dragon Ball, but I loved it. I even went back after watching Dragon Ball with a positive attitude—thinking I might love the anime shows—but, n...

1. Kuririn and Roshi's ridiculous explanation for Roshi's near take down of Kuririn in the Tournament. 2. Goku's ludicrous attempt to show that Mr. Satan's punch hit him out of the arena, while grabbing his tractor. 3. Roshi throwing the rock at Kuririn for cheating 4. Goku eating all of Roshi's foo...

Re: Who's the most beta male in the series?
Yamucha. He was such a nice guy, but sometimes he was too nice for his own good. I don't believe he ever cheated on Bulma, but I doubt he shot down her accusations since he's so subservient. Can't get much darker than when Goku went to drink the Ultra Divine Water in the Cave of Darkness.

Re: Goku vs Cell
It's a good fight, certainly one of the best of that arc, and one that's grown on me over the years. One of the things i like about it is that there's a logical reason why Goku fights even though he knows that he can't win, i just wish that Toriyama wrote that he told Gohan his plan before hand ins...

Re: Favourite Majin Buu
Fat Buu was my favorite. He was completely unpredictable, and I loved his relationship with Mr. Satan. His actions were so perverse, like when he turned a human into milk to give to the blind kid he help and when he made a toilet out of humans to poop into, yet his naivety made him hard to dislike.

Re: SSJ4 or SSJG form?
SSJG form for me. If SSJG looked like SSJ4, I would have accepted it. It's a god form, so as long as it somewhat resembled a Saiyan, I could buy any look. However, SSJ4 is not a god form; it is a constrained form of the Golden Oozaru, so the design throws me off. If SSJ4 was golden and had green eye...

Re: Goku's Love For Earth
Consider this a preview for when I get into doing a Goku character analysis, if I become arsed to do so. But seriously, elements like this really makes me question the idea that Goku is too vanilla of a character. He's easily one the best characters of all time in my book. Are you kidding me?...

Re: Thoughts on Majin Vegeta
I think it's a bit harsh to just relegate Vegeta to the "emo" title. How many of us have wasted time whining about an author's decision in a children's cartoon from over a decade ago? Vegeta would probably give us the "man-baby" or "loser" title. Everyone's got their fl...

Re: So why is it okay for "x" to come back instead of "y"?
I think it's a cool topic. For me, I'm okay with the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan transformation over the Super Saiyan 4 transformation simply because I saw the blond SSJ hair as the characters bursting with energy, and it lights up their hair. That energy can be any color. Some people think it's j...

Re: Thoughts on Majin Vegeta
I love Majin Vegeta! Thankfully the Funimation dub version is great because it's what's readily available on youtube, so I can watch it over and over again. And I do! I've listened to his speeches an insane amount of times, and I'm still not bored of them! He's such a pitiful jerk in those scenes, b...

Re: Is Videl Vs. Spopovitch one of the most brutal fights?
Edit: I felt bad for saying that I felt the fight was hard too stomach because it was a girl getting beat up, and that was apparently sexist, so I wrote a whole spiel about how I think it's great for women to fight and used examples like the Bride from Kill Bill and Cassie Caine. All I meant was I d...

Re: Is Videl Vs. Spopovitch one of the most brutal fights?
Edit: Nevermind....I don't even understand the sexist argument argument anymore. I think it's a great fight, and I think Videl is awesome for giving it all in a fight, but she's so sweet, so it's hard to watch.

Great Survey! I'm so happy to see that Goku got so many votes. He's my favorite fictional character, so I love seeing the love for him! :P I'm happy with the top 10 because it shows that my views line up with the majority of the Kanzenshuu community. Goku and Vegeta are easily my two favorites, but ...

Re: Which is worse to you: bad art or bad animation?
Easily, bad art. One of the biggest appeals of Dragon Ball is Toriyama's art style, and if that's gone, I don't feel like I'm watching the same characters. I love reading the Dragon Ball Multi-verse fan manga, but when they switch artists that don't do a very good job of replicating Toriyama's art, ...

Re: What's your favourite skill in db series?
Warp Kamehameha. I heard so many explanations of Cell shifting his nucleus so that it didn't kill him, but I don't buy it. Goku killed Cell with this glorious move. I don't like regeneration working to that extent. Same with Piccolo regenerating from being crushed as a statue.
