Even Funimations dub skirted around trunks being dead. They kept saying he was "in bad shape" and even krillin scolds Vegeta for his rage saying "that won't help trunks!" Or something. Lol

Chiming in just to agree with everyone, one of the most anticipated DB games ever to get almost no new content post release meanwhile Xenoverse still gets multiple updates despite being almost 10 years old is baffling to me.

I wouldn’t necessarily call it *bad* but the choice to make Nozawa voice Golden Great Ape Goku was…odd to say the least.

Awful news. I always really enjoyed his Roshi, Yajirobe and Baby (plus many others) and wouldn’t wish something like that on anyone. The insurance problem in this country is despicable.

Crunchyroll are going to hold on to the legacy cast with an iron fist, just as Funimation did before them. The chance to do a complete, from the ground up recast was Kai. Hell, Funimation nearly kept Linda Young as Freeza (she had that line in the first episode).

The art in this special (and the other ones by this artist) is really good but I just can’t bring myself to care. Waiting for months just for the main story to come back for a little bit and then back to specials time after time I’m kinda over it.
