More practise for the early DragonBall style. http://orig01.deviantart.net/dd6c/f/2015/237/e/e/vegeta_5_by_projectdnp_manga-d972mkx.png Looking good so far. Are these references to any particular panels in the manga? Thank you. I got the idea for this one after looking at the panel where Goku punch...

Re: Why do You Care About Power?
I can't say I personally have had any experience with that section of the forum, nothing worthwhile anyway. But I'm a long time lurker on the forum from back in 06 and I'm familiar with what you're saying. I think some people do just have a genuine interest in keeping up with and compiling lists of ...

Re: Fan Works Explosion
More practise for the King Piccolo arc style. This time I added a scenario to the picture to make it more interesting. Krillin's left hand ended up looking weird though, same with his right foot.

Re: Battle of Z underrated?
It is a pretty fun game, I only got it a few months back so still haven't beat it yet. Coming off of Xenoverse I'd say you're right about the battle system being a bit more interesting. But aside from what you mentioned there isn't really anything in it that you can't get in Xenoverse and I only rea...

Vegeta as a kid firing a beam, It's unfinished but I'm really just practicing the style at the moment. I was going for a style like the one used around the King Piccolo arc. Let me know what you think.

Re: Is this figure on amazon?
I could only find the one you wanted in a set of seven, but it's a little pricey cause you can't get them individually. Some of the other ones in the set are pretty cool though. http://www.amazon.com/Dragonball-Gashapon-Part-16-Set/dp/B002R1R2MY/ref=sr_1_2?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=143470...

Re: Keeping weaker characters relevant
At this point I think they would be better off doing a spinoff following the characters around during the Timeskips. At least then it wouldn't feel like they were just taking pity on the weaker characters having them get a few good hits in on the main villain before the stronger Z-fighters show up....

Re: Looking for a certain release of DragonBall
Thanks you guys, I really appreciate the help. Saves me buying random releases hoping to get it, saves my wallet too those saga sets are pretty expensive - I'm glad it didn't turn out to be those.

Looking for a certain release of DragonBall
Hope I'm not wasting anybody's time here, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me where I can find a release of DragonBall with this particular intro:

Thanks in advance.

Re: Keeping weaker characters relevant
How was that convoluted. It was easy to follow. Freeza wanted the DBs to gain immortality. Vegeta is going after them for himself, and the heroes are after them to wish their friends back. Did you find the DB's switching hands hard to follow? Buu's transformations are convoluted. Convoluted is more...

Re: If GT Ended With the Baby Arc ...
Allthough in my defence they had plenty of opportunities to have episodes based on the side characters they just didn't bother. They did, like the one I mentioned. You're right and that's fair enough, but what I meant was that when they had a series all to themselves with no manga to abide by they ...

Re: Keeping weaker characters relevant
Yes, but the Dragon Balls kept changing hands all the time. It's no different from the Red Ribbon army arc where the DragonBalls are taken by General Blue and Tao Paipai only to be recovered after each of them is defeated. I wouldn't say it's convoluted though as in each stories there aren't too ma...

Re: If GT Ended With the Baby Arc ...
Honestly, there's no need to retier them. What they should have done was split up the Z-fighters, so each gets a shot at one. Weaker characters would face the weaker dragons. We'd actually get screen time with characters that are not ****ing Goku and Pan. I'm hate to sell them short but I don't thi...

Re: What's your ideal roster for a DBZ fighter?
I think, just for a bit of fun, they should include some of the guys from Toriyama's one shots and short stories as playable characters. It would be pretty cool to have Kid Goku squaring off against Tanton from Dragon Boy.

Re: Why were the Dragon Ball specials of such a high quality
I reckon if Toriyama had spent more time on his two stories we would have had something more substantial than what we got. Rather than quick rushed chapters at the end of a couple of books. In regards to the specials they're pretty good, they have some nice looking animation in some parts - more so ...

Re: What made GT so bad ?
I actually remember really liking GT when I was a kid. I specifically remember enjoying the music, the Japanese score is really nice to listen to. Honestly that's the only thing that spoiled the dub for me, they chose a really weird direction to go with the music - it's really unfitting for the kind...
