Re: HD Dragon Ball (part 1) footage exists?
As clutchins stated, there's no official releases of the original DB in HD. When it comes to the TV series, I think my own transfer of episode 58 is the only HD footage in the world so far. http://i.imgur.com/5pno2W9.jpg http://i.imgur.com/NZw5Gwt.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ewNgQyS.jpg http://i.imgur.c...

The "Part" home releases and Yamamoto score
Do all the part releases have the Kai soundtrack, or are they rare now?
I just ordered part one for 9$ on Amazon. Most of the parts are expensive, like $50+.
Did I order the replacement score? And i would also like I link to the CD of the score of the as well. I'd like to purchase the OST as well.

The Kai OST..where to find?
I've found numerous Kai soundtrack CD's and I've found the song collection with the vocal tracks, but there are more than one of these. The other thing is, I cant find the BGM CD for the OST. Please explain the release history and link to the ideal setup.

Positive changes/Woolseyisms
Example: The old Funimation name for the Makankosappo is not as harsh, though the meaning is very...cheesy in comparison. Sounds like censorship. But flows much better. Funimation's openings, specifically the one on the Full season home releases. I prefer it over Head Cha-La;some of the heavier mome...

Re: How short can Z(and part1 to a lesser extent) condense?
As a complete guess, if one was to take Z and strip out all of the filler, it could be reduced to 75-80 episodes for what Kai 1.0 covers. And that is without regards to fitting content to last an entire episode's length of around 23 minutes. Not possible unless you want the flow to be unnatural. Am...

Re: Happy Goku Day!
As much as I enjoy this fiction...it feels a bit pointless to have an official holiday. Though a few days ago I abruptly heard "May the 4th" stated in the context of another joke ir explanation of some unrelated...thinking back, it was very subtly clever. I totally missed that it was an of...

Re: The DB fanbase is degrading fast!
While the really wonky english is really hard to understand, I I agree think there is nothing wrong with Bejita, since some dubs actually did make it the official romanization for them. They arent weaboos they are just really attached to their romanization. I actually used to be EXTREMELY against r...

Re: How short can Z(and part1 to a lesser extent) condense?
100 episodes seems small. Remember to allow moments to breathe. 100 episodes for 26 volumes is fine. 8 minutes per chapter~<3 chapters per episode. maybe an average of 2.7. I would easily add over 50 for the first part, if i could cut Dragon Ball 1 and leave it enjoyable. I might do it for its own ...

Re: HD Dragon Ball (part 1) footage exists?
I have come upon a very popular anime streaming site run by ads mostly, that has Dragon Ball the anime in 960x720, and Dragon Ball Z in 1080p 16x9, which is of course, off the season Blu Rays. I am quite sure the season sets of part 1 were at 480p, correct? The Blue bricks, if you will. But this is...

How short can Z(and part1 to a lesser extent) condense?
I typed quite a bit earlier but I switched tabs on my phone and forced to refresh... so I will abbreviate. Anyhow, the DB part 1 filler is enjoyable and often adds to the story quite a bit, so while it may be useful to know, the audience for a manga cut Z has more potential. My first run of this ser...

Re: Who here has actually seen Dr. Slump? Is it worth watchi
I read this manga in junior high after seeing advertisements in Shonen Jump. Its not quite memorable enough in plot or anything substantial, but the jokes and charm of the setting (carried over to Dragon Ball) work well enough. 6/10.
I've read manga easily below that
