Hopefully this movie will be received very well and we can see them do other character-centric movies/TV series. I think it would be unseemly to release a movie under the Dragon Ball Super label and just name the project after the characters.

I don't think so. I think Shenlong had been granting one or two wishes purely because Toriyama didn't know he can grant three wishes.

As for Bulma, it was only gag scene. Goku thinks Bulma has been summoning Shenlong as she's barely aged, but it doesn't mean she has indeed summoned Shenlong ...
