Re: Dragon Ball Movie 20 - Animation Hub
Shimanuki is back on One Piece as an animation supervisor so I wouldn't expect him to be on the movie
Anyone else from DBS gone to OP?
Tu is now working on One Piece and there are a few key animators from Super that have gone back to One Piece, as they worked on it before, but they're no one ...

Re: Dragon Ball Movie 20 - Animation Hub
Figured I'd list what animators are going to be working on the animation and who I expect/hope to see as well.
Confirmed:
Naohiro Shintani
Naotoshi Shida
Yuya Takahashi
Takashi Hashimoto
Ken Arto
Mehdi Aouichaoui
Expected:
Ryo Onishi
Naoki Tate
Masahiro Shimanuki

Totally just an assumption but due to the movie's very different designs, I'm gonna guess that Shimanuki probably won't be on it

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Bang Zoom Dub Official Discussion Thread
Did you miss the part where Toonami Asia is getting shut down at the end of the month?
No more episodes ordered = cancelled
Well, Toonami Asia shutting down could mean the dub is getting cancelled but that's not what Bang Zoom! said themselves. It's not technically cancelled but indefinitely ...

Will Sumitomo return to do the score or will they get someone else just for this movie?
Imagine someone like Yuki Hayashi doing the soundtrack. That would make me go insane. He did the music for One Piece FIlm: Gold so it's a possibility.
I mentioned this a few pages ago, I would definitley like ...

Seeing as he's been composing the music for most of Toei's films lately, how would you guys feel if Yuki Hayashi made the movie's score instead of Sumitomo?

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
No worries, though speaking of Shida, I don't expect him to be on the movie. He wasn't in Film Z which was a Nagamine film as well but there will be tons of other great key animators on it no doubt

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
There was talk that animators didn't come to work on RoF because they didn't like working with Yamamuro. So, that is also a reason why RoF really looked like mostly Yamamuro and a few cuts of Shida.
Shida didn't work on Resurrection F
My mistake! I thought he was on the film but I must have been ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
Judging from the KV we don't have to worry about it not being flowy! I was looking at Toriyama's SSGSS drawings again the other day and the hairs looked great especially Vegeta's.
As for story, I been thinking and doubt Toei would go through all this trouble if it wasn't up to snuff, which is ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Embarrassing for One Piece when it can't beat Super even running against a much weaker competition (Super Sentai). The desperation of the OP fanatic says it all.
On the other hand, nice that DBS is ending in such a high note. I wonder how much it would be scoring if it wasn't for the Kamen Rider ...

Re: Super Animation Catalogue 2.0
That's a little worrying. If they're still going at it in 131 it'll leave very little time to wrap things up. Guess we'll know when the previews come out this week.
I think that could only mean 2 things, the show is actually taking a break instead of ending, or that episode 131 will be a 1 hour ...
