Re: What Bardock do you prefer?
[quote="ABED"]Power level numbers are meaningless and their power levels were never stated in the special as far as I recall. Only Goku's was stated. Well at this stage in the series they're meaningful and it was stated in the special Bardock's power rivaled King Vegeta's, or he had a powe...

Re: What Bardock do you prefer?
And that battle power doesn't contradict that at all. To Freeza, he's still an ant. Christ, Vegeta was constantly mocked even though he was one of Freeza's strongest troops. Bardock was also a lower class fighter that got stronger through hard work, granted vile hard work, but still hard work. Ther...

Re: Does Dragon Ball takes priority
You can't imagine people that live regular lives discussing a series they like in-depth? That's what people do. My friends go on for too long when discussing series they like, be it through text or in oral conversation. You don't even need to look any further than Kanzenshuu staff. They contribute ...

Re: Does Dragon Ball takes priority
Passionate about something they enjoy, greatly critically-minded, and likes to write long-form analyses =/= has an unhealthy obsession that takes over their life. It's not like that, don't be facetious. It's that I can't see someone doing that and still being a ''normal'' individual, as socie...

Re: What Bardock do you prefer?
Old Bardock by a mile, Minus and it's Bardock are generic and forgettable- bland story, characters, and washed down writing.

Lol, Dragon Ball is way more popular than both Rick and Morty and Adventure Time.Dragon Ball Ireland wrote:compare it to the popularity of American animation like Rick & Morty or even Adventure Time.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I mean, there's hardly anything concrete for anything. But the evidence is piling up pretty high at this point. -Goku goes SSG against Caulifla and Kale, starts dominating him, but doesn't instantly one shot them like Jiren does to Maji Kayo or Vegeta did Frost, Tagoma, etc etc. It most certainly d...

Re: ToP Arc: The Worst and most boring Arc of Super so far?
Tbh the only reason I gave R'F' even a 2 out of 10 is because of how much I liked episodes 15,16 and 18. Take that away and it drops to 0.5/10. The only remotely interesting things about the Potaufeu arc was Funimation getting Brian Drummond to play copy Vegeta, and the 30 second Future Trunks arc ...

Re: Characters you wish were completely removed from Super/sequels
Kale and Caulifa, two terribly written characters. Tenshinhan: Toei/Toriyama clearly have no idea what to do with him, he became joke in Super, surpassed even by Roshi, he retired in Cell Saga, and it should stay that way. Eventually have cameo like in Buu Saga, but dont put him into frontlines. Rea...

Some people say the TOP had spectacle, can't say I agree spectacle would be something like OPM, Mob Psycho 100, FMA or the Fate series.

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
to your post obviously Oh, I couldn't tell your post was all over the place. Why are we taking anime as canon? Kefla in manga and Kefla in anime astronomically different. Anime is incosistent even to itself, let alone to the manga. Because it's the official continuation while manga is promotional m...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying the multiplier is dramatically higher according to what we've seen. Goku "made the power his own" after he merged with the power of SSG, and ever since that point it has seemingly been a lesser multiplier. And it makes intuitive sense considering...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
I don't remember Beerus saying anything about fusion. No, he didn't say anything about Fusion, but he did comment on the power of SSG and said how it made Goku the strongest or second strongest opponent he came up against. And considering Rage Vegeta made him use 1/10th of his power, and Goku thoug...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
It must have been because Goku, Beerus, and general statements heavily implied SSG was stronger than Fusion by a significant amount. If Fusion were as strong as people are suggesting it to be, then there would have been no need for Gotenks to go SSJ3 against Super Buu or Vegito to go SSJ against Buu...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread
Because Toyotaro’s manga and DBS movie replicated the feature in which Fusion gives a boost that rivals or surpasses the god forms. Kefla actually was dominating SSG Goku. I'm not sure what you are saying anymore. You are saying the manga and dbs movie have fusion that rivals or surpasses god forms...

Re: Should Super come back as a seasonal anime?
It won't, but there have been some weekly anime with consistent animation I.e.-, Pokemon, Precure, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter. Although I'm not positive FMA Brotherhood was probably weekly and the animation was overall above average, however, what I care about is the writing. If I could pick, I ...
