Re: Comparison shots from every single DBZ release
Where is the first picture of goku and shin from? It almost looks like a redrawn scene from kai 1.0. The 30th anniversary shot looks great in my opinion. Its great that everyone has a chance to own the series in 4.3 now, especially the namek episodes. Is from a cel scan I think, I tried to match th...

Re: Your opinion about Dragon Ball AI Project (DBAI)
It would be perfect for BD version of Blue Bricks :P Speaking of Kai, remember those reanimated scenes? Hard to believe it's been almost 13 years https://www.kanzenshuu.com/guides/episode/kai/eps_comp/001/08.png?x34650 https://www.kanzenshuu.com/guides/episode/kai/eps_comp/001/09.png?x34650 Jesus C...

Re: A potential 4K release of DBZ...
Personally I think 4K is a bit much for anything animated. I think 4K is more suitable for live action. Before we try to get Z in 4K, can we please have regular DB in just HD ? Disctoek released Space Adventure Cobra in 4K UHD and it looks amazing. Animation can look wonderful in 4K if you know how...

Techincally, the Z Warriors made evrything worse by actiively allowing Buu to be awoken.
Any other sane group would have stopped Babidi and Dabura.

Re: The Plausibility of the Boo Arc
It is probably because the Earth is a backwater wasteland secluded from the rest of the universe. This is mentioned many times. For example, the reason why Bardock sent Goku to Earth is because the Earth is not a valuable world, as its civilizations are not technologically advanced and its citizens...

Re: Funimation's 30th anniversary collectible home video release
From what I understand, many photographers take pictures in JPEG format because the difference with a RAW file is almost undetectable (same with a image scanner), but the truth is there is a vast difference in the amount of information retained in a RAW file compared to a JPEG, so if you just shot ...

Yeah but who is using jpegs? The images on their blog (which aren't even jpegs) aren't the actual format of their raws... and why they didn't upload it in RAW format? maybe they don't work with that format and maybe that's why even the level sets have crushed blacks Because that's not how images fo...

Re: Funimation's 30th anniversary collectible home video release
I have a question, shouldn't the raw footage be a RAW file? not a JPG because I think you can remove noise better in RAW files https://www.dxo.com/dxo-photolab/deepprime/ and is better for dark or very bright details Yeah but who is using jpegs? The images on their blog (which aren't even jpegs) ar...

Re: Funimation's 30th anniversary collectible home video release
Wow. Ok, your explanation sounds very reasonable. However, if this is accurate, then FUNimation was deceptive in their description. I was able to get back into the blog post. My phone was trying to open it through the app so I had to bypass that. So here’s what they say about the video presentation...
