The majority of Dragon Ball Z was shot on 16mm film compared to the more standard 35mm. When you see a cel scan close, most has dirt or normal imperfections. So maybe is normal if the output have imperfections to, even in colors. Cause the lines look less blury on my TV when i upscale it than when i do it in SD and watch it on tv (and it's experimental settings i allways learn, practice, make test etc) and before someone talk about the grain reduce just look those two shots from the same frame of db 139 i make a black line ...
