Re: The Harmony Gold Dub & Broadcast Audio Discussion Thread
I'd gladly contribute to a fundraiser as well, but only if all the fans are given access to the audio. Of course I don't want to break any of the rules of this site, but the fans deserve access to this. No more hush-hush stuff.

*rant*
Okay fine, I will admit it was a stupid question. Calm down.
Again make no mistake, I'm not trying to undercut the importance of voting in any way. Your initial statement just made it seem as if OP's decision will literally, directly result in people dying and it will be all his fault ...

I'm afraid elections truly do affect the lives of others, even if you do not directly feel the consequences yourself, for any particular reason.
I am aware that they affect lives, but he is acting like people will die just because of that one vote. He said elections are a literal life or death ...

Re: What DBZ party did you vote for in the australian electi
Fair enough but in what world does life or death hinge on an election? Do you honestly think people will die because one person made a stupid edit to their ballot? I don't even find it funny myself but some people in this thread are just overreacting.

Re: What DBZ party did you vote for in the australian electi
Absolutely. We're free to have this conversation back and forth. That's what makes everything so great.
You're complaining about someone complaining, though. I just don't know what that accomplishes. It's great, but it doesn't serve much purpose.
And now you're complaining about me complaining ...

I'm sorry but what is that supposed to mean? Surely you're not implying that I don't understand freedom of speech are you? Besides you do know that freedom of speech is what allows me to criticize his post too right?VegettoEX wrote:(read: freedom of speech)

I actually used my vote.
The time you spent being "clever" could have easily been used talking to local volunteers to at least get a quick rundown of the key policy points of each of the parties, and then you could at least go into polling slightly more informed. I very much hope that you share ...

Re: So Tenshinhan is the only male not paired up with a woma
To be fair Chaitzou does look AND sound like a child. If they're both adults I guess that's fine(at least it wouldn't be shota)but personally it would just weird me out to much. Making Tenshinhan gay would be interesting though, I don't think it would feel forced or anything.

Re: Things that grind your gears
This.
One thing that really disheartens me is just how malicious some Funi-Dub fans can be (and Ocean Dub people toward them, then again that was years ago and maybe they've changed...) towards people who're JP sub fans...
For reference, I'm a dub-to-sub convert who still has affection for the ...

It's not funny, but the show is so popular and people are constantly quoting it that it makes me sad.
Why? Why does people enjoying something you don't upset you? That's a little ridiculous.

-GT is not canon.
I'm pretty sure it isn't though?
Anyways things that grind my gears are:
-Getting butthurt over dub/sub names. Whether it be King Kai or Kuririn it's really not a big deal. People can call the characters whatever they want.
-People who don't know what "animation" really is ...

Although I understand why people don't like Nadolny, Clinkenbeard really isn't much better and I really don't understand a lot of the praise she seems to get. She makes Gohan and Kid Goku sound like an anxious 30-something year old woman.
